Default Best Gas Saving Mod!!

Get a speeding ticket. I got my first ticket in this truck, and ive only had it 2 months. Caught doing 80 in a 65, but the CHP was cool about it, kinda, and put me down for 75. So im pretty sure its 65-70 for me for a while which is probably gonna save some money on the MPG department.

Funny thing is, after i left the officer i did 70 max the rest of the way home and the whole freakin world was passing me and tailgating me. Guess its all about timing.

80 in a 65 is kinda lame...(im a cop in case that hasnt been mentioned) and on the hwys around here where the speed limits are 60 i give them 80 before i start writing them....theres always someone going 79 but if u wait u can get someone doing close to 90.....but thats just me and most of my co workers. some will write at 10 over or less....

oh well. but yes, it will save gas.

Yea wow the higher gas goes the slower I go. I go 60 in a 55 zone and on the Interstate I go 75 tops to save all the gas I can. Heck next ill have little ole ladies giving me the finger for going to slow

55 to 60 mph is the best speed for the most fuel economy.

Around here, the magic number is 10 (over). I usually set my cruise control for 8mph over the speed limit. I have seen some guys with radar let people slide that were doing 10-15 over, but it's rare. 9 your safe, 11 you are going to get a ticket.

Why can't you be a cop in my area lol? I had a cop pull me over and give me a ticket for an illegal U-turn and then he noticed that my registration was old because I had just bought my new car and still had the old one...Then to top things off he walked back to my car and pointed out that my seatbelt was unfastened and he tacked that on there too! I said sir I took off my seatbelt in case I had to get outta the car and he said "yea well you can argue that in court". It was a nice $280 in tickets for a stupid U-turn. To make things worse he wrote that there were three no u-turn signs on my ticket lol...which there were but geez.

My mother got a speeding ticket in a 15mph zone, she was traveling at the eye-popping speed of 25mph. Hilarious since her 330ci doesn't go much over 45 on the daily.

It's a conspiracy.
