discount tire has my rims and tires in...finally! i bought the black 20" rockstars (9" wide, +35 offset) and 275/60R20 cooper LTZs. will these tires fit without the 2.25" spacer (front only) from the TGC leveling kit? i have the leveling kit, but haven't installed it yet. i want to put my tires on today

If I'm reading your post correctly, I don't think you can fit a 33" tire under the front unless you raise it. I have 275/60R20's on the Pro Comp 6066 20x8.5 which has an off set of 32mm and a 6" backspace and a 2inch front leveling kit. I have very little room left when turning the wheel to a full lock according to the guys that installed them. They put one on my truck to check before balancing and installing the rest. I can't remember reading any post where a 33" tire was added without a leveling kit. I may be wrong but i don't remember any. You may just have to try it to know for sure.

You won't know until you try, but my guess is these will fit without the kit. Stock tires are 32, so if yours are 33 shouldn't be an issue imo. Note: I did not run a calculator to confirm your size is only 33.

Rear Susp: ProComp ES3000 #326510 (2.25" taller than stock), 1.25" blocks plus PRG mini-pack (http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...and-new-truck/) gives 2.25" total lift, parking brake cable bracket spacers, wheel well height 43." Front diff and rear ds drop; trailer hitch electrical harness tucked up above bumper. After 20K miles swapped 305/65/18 BFG AT for 285/75/18 Toyo AT, still on stock 18x8x60 offset TRD wheels, about 1/8" clearance to sway bar. Like the extra height but miss the width. Next time either 305/70/, 295/70, or 35x12.50/18. Added 5th 285/75/18 Toyo AT as spare. Bed Bounce: Stiffer E-tires are worse than stock P-metric; biggest improvement from PRG mini-pack, slight improvement from shocks. Still a stiff ride but tolerable now. Best things about this truck: 5.7 and transmission, interior size and comfort, very quiet at high speed. Worst things about this truck: bed bounce, no VSC in 4wd, mileage sucks above 70.
I have 285/65/18 BFG All Terrain T/As which are the equivalent to 32.7 inches tall and 11.5 on a 8.5 inch rim. I am also running the stock TRD wheels (18x8). Now I looked at the Cooper LTZ. The size you have are equivalent to 33.03 inches tall and 11.06 inches wide. I don't have any issues with my tires and I am not running a leveling kit of any sort. Since your tires are .3 inches larger in diameter and .5 inches narrower I wouldn't think you would have any issues if you mounted them early without a leveling kit. Just take your truck down and have them mount your new rim/tire combo.

your posts almost never make sense....the 20'' is the rim....the 33 inch mentioned above is the overall tire diameter which obviously is larger than the rim since it goes around it.....thats the one that matters when u are squeezing it into a smaller opening...
back to topic....just try it and see...
just make sure it doesnt contact anything during full suspension movement and turns etc. or u can send them to me and i'll be glad to evaluate them.
Hey man can you show us some pics when you get theses on??!?!?!?!?
Have your tire shop mount one and giver a try with the truck on the ground turning the wheel from lock to lock. That should give you a good idea if it works or not. Good luck.

yep...my guess would be that it would fit since the diameter difference (between stock and the new tire) is only 1" larger and the width is .8" wider (255 vs 275). its in the shop now...so we shall see. T minus 90mins until I get off work and pic it up!
ya los211, i'll take a pic and post it right when i pick it up. might be a little dirty though since it rained a couple days ago. i might have it go for a bath, but with my past luck with car washes, it will rain again.

i have my new rims and tires!!! copying from another thread so you guys don't have to do an extra click:
======
Just picked up my truck today. I went with the black XD Series Rockstars (20x8.5, +35mm offset) and the Cooper Zeon LTZs (275/60R20). I decided to try to put them on without installing the front spacers and THEY DON'T RUB! Even at full lock (both left and right), it doesn't rub. U-turns...no rub. Go over speedbumps at 10mph...no rub.
These coopers are quiet and runs smooth. I'm happy I went with this size too...I don't notice any power loss off the line (maybe there is some, but I can't even tell). Overall...VERY HAPPY with this setup. Here are some pics...sorry for the dirty truck. She'll be taking a bath tomorrow:
whatchu guys think?
Anyone who wants to buy my stock tires (255/70R18 with 1,500 miles) or steel-styled 18s, PM me.

What tire pressure are you running in the tires? I recently put the Zeon's on, and had some horrible noise at about 35 f/r. I bumped them to 40/38 and it got better. Then after talking to the manager at Discount tire, he suggested 30/30, and the're totally silent.
I'm really not sure I'm comfortable running that low of a tire pressure.

Wheels and tires look great!
Are you talking P-metric or LT?
