sorry forgot one thing.... I got him to mark "gift" and value under $20 on my receipt. This is key for the no duties/customs thing. "Used auto part" also works.....

Watch this for a good laugh...These people are from hornblasters.com and they have train horns mounted under a Mercury Marauder...I think its about 20 horns all together and 152+ db!
start of movie is two stebels. then the stock low horn. then adds the stock high horn.

stock HU -> LOC -> PPI FRX-456 -> DLS A4 + Marathon 6150 -> DLS iridium 6.2 comps + Hybrid-Audio L3's + 4 Tang Band W6-1139SI's
to come:
JBL MS-8 + center channel speaker + components for the rear + sirius adapter for stock HU

Seems like you can really tell a difference when the second Stebel comes on line. You were brave standing in front of that. I feel sorry for the poor person on the end of that.

both stebels start at the same time, then the stock low horn. the stock horns definitely add to the noise
i had an idea the other day, i'm not sure if anyone would be interested in it, though. you can easily make a delay circuit with a diode and capacitor. the size of the capacitor will dictate the delay. i could make it so for the first .1-.2 seconds are the stock horns, then the next .1-.2 seconds are one stebel, and then finally .1-.2 seconds later the second stebel kicks in or another thought would be to hit one stebel and one stock horn for the first .1-.2 seconds, then the second stebel and second stock horn after that.

Then it must be the stock low horn that really makes it come to life.
yeah, it definitely does. i wish i still had my RTA setup so i could measure the frequencies of the stock horns

Well since they are all wired independently i used 16 ga.; as wire using dc volts can handle more amperage ..Works fine
with 16 gauge, don't go over 6 feet of wire length. i'd suggest that anyone doing this use 12-14 gauge wire. i used 12, but after replacing so many headlight wiring harnesses and other burnt wiring for idiots who bring their cars/trucks to my buddy's shop, i never skimp on wiring.
