Well..finally installed the Stebel today. I put both stock horns to the passenger side (spliced the hookup as shown in this thread ...thank you) and the Stebel to the drivers side.
Was finishing the install when my 9yr old son came home from school. Asked what I was doing and I told him. He said.."Isn't that kinda a waste of money since the truck already has a horn?". I said..wait till you hear it.
He got the first try at it and now thinks its the coolest thing on the truck!
Just got on this late and have not read the long full post yet... But for starters, When I press my alarm button after leaving the my Truck at 2 AM will that wake up my whole neighborhood or will the original horn sound a small beep ?????????????????????????

if your alarm sounds the arm/disarm through the horn, then it will sound through the stebel and wake everyone up. what alarm do you have?

Wow! For $32 I just might order another one lol! That'll put me at 2 stockers and 2 Stebels!
that's what i've got. i didn't notice a huge difference going from one to two, but for $32, why not?

I have a Toyota Alarm. Alarm came with truck when bought new off the lot. When I turn alarm on my horn will do a quick small beep. When I turn alarm off my alarm will do two quick beeps. wondering if I can keep this small horn so that I know alarm comes on or turns off from inside house. Some times i don't remember if I turned alarm on before I go to sleep. so I will click my alarm button off then on to hear one small beep from horn to confirm alarm is on!

The confirmation beep for the alarm you hear is not coming from the horns.
It's coming from a small piezo type speaker.
Adding the Stebel will not change the beep, only the honk.

This will sound funny to you but, my wife has a Toyota too. Her car beeps ( I call it a chirp - sounding like coming out of a speaker.) My truck for some reason the beep is coming from the horn it isn't the little chirp chirp. I think I'll just get one of these anyways... I like the sound when I really want to get someone out of my way

Again, that beep is definitely not from the horns, it's from a speaker.
The beep from the speaker also has selectable frequency tones, so your's could be a bit lower pitched or higher pitched than what you hear from mine.
If your's is different, you've got me stumped.
