just put mine in. sounds great with the stock low tone horn,( took out high tone horn). the only thing i did wrong was swap the two 12volt wires on the relay and when i beeped the horn a few times it blew the horn fuse in the big plasic box under the hood. . had to go to toyota to get little fuse cuz they are different than all the other mini fuses i could find. swaped wires back and works great!
I just ordered one for $43.99 delivered from eCrater. I plan on hooking it up in addition to the factory horns. I'll use one of the original horn wires for relay signal on the Stebel.

Thanx for the tip. Was ready to buy for 57 from ebay.
Ordered, got the message it is shipped.
Can't wait to put it on.
Was reading this tread for a while, but after getting cut twice within 30 minutes, pulled the trigger. I hope if that happens again at least they will have to change some undies

got mine a week ago from ecrater, very nice people. even came with a hand written thank you note, and nice emails also.
i just hope these horns last i read some old posts about horns failing after not so long. i snaped the right angle plastic air intake peice on the horn to help keep water from shooting right up the air intake when driving in the rain
Is there a write up yet on how to install this airhorn WITH the factory or is it pretty simple?? Thanks in advance .. just ordered it.... darn you all for speaking so good about it. Got it from Ecrater for 43.99 shipped =)

I KNOW. Hence why i asked if there is a WRITE UP for the Airhorn AND 2 STOCK HORNS.
I *read* through all 28 pages and didnt see a WRITE UP on the installation for BOTH horns. The closest I saw was a diagram on how to split the stock horns...
So, i was hoping someone on here had a write up on how to install both the Nautilus in combination of the Airhorns...

Basically just add the new one and give it it's own power supply via a fused relay. Then all you have to do is tee into one of the existing horn wires and send that signal back to the relay to operate it at the same time. This signal wire won't add much of any load to the factory horn since it's just telling the relay to switch on or off with the Stebel horn load coming directly from the battery through the fuse and relay.
I've generated an Acrobat file showing a schematic of what my interpretation is based on the fine work of previous posters to this thread:

well i mounted mine to the right of the stock horn on the drivers side(looking from front of truck). hence both stock horns still fit in stock places. all u need to do is tap into either horns wire(they both supply 12volts when u push the steering wheel) and run it to the relay. that wire will activate the relay which will then supply a direct 12volt feed from the battery right to the stebel horn. you will see how to hook up relay on back of box when you get horn. just make sure u get 12gauge or larger wire and a inline 20amp fuse holder to put on the feed from the battery

I am the original poster and mine is still going strong!!! One thing you need to pay attention to is the way you mount it. The opening should always be facing down so no bug guts or water gets in and ruins it. Try NOT to blow it in a hard down pour because it could suck water into the tiny compressor. If you follow a few preventitive measures, I see no reason why this horn shouldn't last a long time.
