I can hear the compressor spool up and blow, but just makes a rushing air sound. No horn sound. Bad diaphragm from the factory perhaps? It's like blowing into a clarinet with no reed.
So I thought the relay might be bad, not passing the full amount of voltage or current. I bypassed the relay and went straight off the battery (fused of course) for positive, chassis for ground. Still only the blowing air sound. Did everyone use the chassis for ground? Just wondering if I'm getting poor grounding on my chassis. I haven't tried going directly off the battery for both positive (fused) and negative. I will try that next, but if it's still no beans, I'm thinking I have a faulty horn.
I accidentally set my panic alarm off with the Stebel and 2 stock horns at 0530 a while back. While fumbling for the fob to de-activate it, I pushed the panic button and the Sienna alarm went off, too. That woke everyone up.
they got the stebel on ecrater for 35.99. Damn it.
WOW !!! That's a good price. However, when I went to the site, it said they were already sold out and to call some number for availability.

The Stebel is my favorite mod so far.
Tom
That's a scary thought - if the alarm goes off in a parking lot or somewhere remote like that, then the 30A horn will eat the battery. I didn't think about htat when I installed mine.

Mine is grounded using the bolts that hold on the OEM horns - seems to work for me so far.

30 pages and 443 posts are a lot to read through, but there are sound clips and an AVI in here. I found a couple for you.... I stopped looking after page 9.
Post #61 (page 5), and Post #123 (page 9) of this link provides sound clips, or at least they say they do.

now for those who only purchased 1, did you disconnect the 2nd horn? also did you make an additional switch or still use the steering wheel for the horn?

I added it, and left both stock ones in place. So when I hit the horn all three chime in

For about a week, until my TM-80 Magnums came in, I only had the air horn hooked up with the OEMs. Still very loud. Press the steering wheel horn and all three would come on - easy installation.

Just got my horn, getting ready to do the install.
Question though, to make sure I am doing it right... For those who have done the Stebel + 2 factory horns, the correct way to wire it to splice into the single blue wire going to the passenger side horn and use that as the trigger on the relay for the Stebel? Or do I need to do it from the driver side horn? That one has 2 wires, one blue, one green?
Help please?
