I tapped from the passenger side and used that as a trigger for the relay. Pics of the diagram I used are posted in my album - use at your own risk.... but they worked for me - I have the two OEMs, two TM Magnums, and the Air Horn all at the same time.

No go for me so far. Cut one of the driver side horn wires and spliced both cut ends together with some 12 ga wire to the relay to act as the trigger. Both regular horns still go off, but nothing from the new horn.

I'm not an electrical guy, but will tinker more tomorrow.

I did not have to cut anything. Look at the fourth picture down.

Double check your relay connections and that you are tapping from the hot side of the horn. I tapped into the passenger side. Also make sure you have your air horn ground on bare metal. A description of your connections would help too.

Good catch - but the original request was for info on how to keep the two OEMs going and the air horn. It looks like you used one of the OEM connectors and plugged it directly into the relay. Good job !!!

Figured it out... I used the same existing hole to mount the relay near the battery that Swatdude did. I also grounded the relay to the back of the same hole. Turns out that wasn't a good ground. Rewired it over to the battery ground and it's all good!! All 3 horns seem to sound simultaneously, which is nice. I've tried doing as short a tap as I can, and all 3 still go off at the same time!

Pics of setup follow...

Photo 1 - Front mount and ground of horn to mount.
Photo 2 - Splice into driver horn wire (hidden under lots of tape)
Photo 3 - Relay mount, fuse, and you can kind of see where the wires are fished through to the front
Photo 4 - Relay ground to battery ground site

Nice Job..... Looks like you were able to mount the horn to the center piece a lot better than I was able to. I had to find some angle bracket and use that.

It's not perfectly vertical, but it's within the 20-degree forward slant specified.

Now just need to wait for someone to cut me off. It really does sound like a train with the tri-tone loud blast!

I used a split/jumper from the other stock connector (similar to what was posted later in the thread) on the passenger side to connect the two stock horns (which have been replaced by Stebel Magnum versions). This way nothing was cut and can be returned to stock in minutes.

I need to reconnect my stock ones like you. Every dB helps.

Let us know what you think the difference is with all five going at the same time. Since I went straight from two OEMs to all five, I really don't know what it's like to have anything different.

I like the way you mounted your stock behind the magnum. I just need to look for the mounts again. Mostly, I just need to get off my butt and do it. I have been doing home projects and have neglected the Tundra for some time now.

How does the Hella Supertone horn compare? They seem to be a lot easier to find.

Thanks!

ebay always has them...... look through the thread and I think it's posted there - if not, I think I have the site in my album. I don't think you will get the same from hella... I've tried FIAMM and they are loud, but not as much as the stebel.

ebay only gave me the motorcycle models. Perhaps my "search fu" is a little weak?

Ok, ok, ok.... I haven't checked E-BAY since I bought a couple for the guy.... you are right, it looks like he only has one combo set on E-BAY... but...... It appears he has graduated from E-BAY and has his own Website.. Here is the "place" I got mine from...

Welcome To Stebel Engineered Sounds - Are You Man Enough To Ride With Stebel?

He has a pretty good site where you can hear the air horns yourself. My experience with the guy was really good.
