no i havent. Except on inside line where the RCSB did 13 flat. There is that one guy on youtube that hit 12.8 with a 150 shot. As far as slips, your king of the hill here.

Did this a little over a year ago, so I don't have my slips anymore--you'll have to take my word for it!!
Best Run: 1/8 mile in 8.68 @ 84 mph
Average: 1/8 mile in 9.01 @ 83 mph (took a few passes to get launches down in a truck--used to a camaro with stick)
2006 Crew Cab Tundra with TRD SC, K&N intake, throttle body spacer, Unichip, Dynomax duals, levelling kit, traction control springs, and Pirelli Scorpion ATR's.
Was tearing up Dodge SRT-10s all night because they couldn't get any traction. For a fully loaded, 4-door truck, this Toyota just grabs and gits!! I can then load up my wife, my kid, and 2 friends to drive home--still getting around 16 miles to the gallon...LOVE IT!!

Hey dude, I thought TRD never made an SC for a 2006 (VVTi) 4.7. How did you manage this?

Good Catch!! At least I know I'm on the right forum with people who know their trucks. This is the way I understand it... Apparently, after the 2003 model year, Toyota switched the Tundra from a 3 stage to a 2 stage catalytic convertor. In order to meet smog regs, they had to supply air to the exhaust gases. This was handled by an air pump put in under the plenum. When this air pump was introduced, it made the plenum too high for the existing TRD superchargers to fit. Since they were apparently having problems with engine failures due to the sc's anyway, they just didn't produce anymore until the new 5.7 motors came out. About 3 years ago TRD made a series of test units that were never released and were only used for testing to try them out. These sc's were modified with extended connections and the plenum legs were shortened. When they continued to have engine failure problems, they decided to scrap the project until the new motors were out. The majority of these units were dimantled and the technology used in the V6 sc's. My buddy runs a performance shop here and has connections all over the racing world. He has a friend that used to be in the testing division at TRD and somehow managed to get one of the test units from this friend. My plenum was modified to allow it to fit, and the bottom end of the motor was beefed up to handle the extra power. I didn't even know all of this until you questioned me on it, but I apparently have a nearly one-of-a-kind since it can't be reproduced for production. I've had it on the truck for almost 40,000 daily driven miles and have had absolutely no problems. URD is in the process of building sc's for the 4.7 liter motor from 2004 and up. They should be available within 6 months. Thank you for asking!!

Does this include '07-up models as well? And how much power is your engine making?

According to the tech guy at URD, yes their superchargers will be good for the '07-up models. I've never dyno'd my truck, but if you take the 271 hp starting point and add up all the claimed numbers for the mods I've done, it would be around 430 hp at the motor, but I'm probably more like right around 400 hp. It's not a rocket by any means, but it gets along alright. I saw in another thread on here where some guy has a newer model Tundra that went 0-60 in 4.67 seconds. That's a beast!! Imagine what he would do if he put some 4.30 gears in the rearend!! I'd love to change the gearing in mine to put the power down better, but like I said, it is a daily driver and fuel economy is still an issue. Eventually, I want to put on some 18" wheels and 33" tires, in which case, I may upgrade from the 3.92 gear to a 4.11.
Hey Guys. Long time no post but I ran tonight at ZMax Dragway in Concord, NC.
My truck is totally stock 2008 4x4 double cab with 16k miles on it. Weighed in at 5760 lbs with me in it. I drove as stock meaning TC was on and everything. I put it in drive and mashed the gas. Track prep was excellent. Temp was 70 degrees. Here's how the slip reads:
r/t .491 (ya...sleeping but not my goal, just test and tune)
60' 2.159
330 6.088
1/8th mile 9.338
1/8 mile mph 75.65
e.t. 14.535
@94.22 mph
I'm pretty happy actually. I didn't think I'd get into the 14's.
I did an in car vid of the pass but you can't see the clock as you pass through it. I've got the time slip though if need. Awesome track by the way. They have 4 lanes but were only running two. Pinks all out is filming there next week.
(TEST RUN)this is BEBOFFS son...well this was my first time at the track...and my first run was the 13.1 4HI all the way. (bad reaction time....(.554)
(2ed run) I raced a GMC DENALI with a 50 shot...tune...exhaust...intake and beat him buy a truck length or more. my time was 13.3 @ 101 and his was 13.8 @ 98!!!!
(3rd run) KILLED a HEMI with exhaust and intake HA...my speed was 13.3 @ 100
(last run) VS a 2004 MACH ONE mustang with a couple GOODIES. and WON!!!
my time-13.3 @ 101---his time-13.7 @104!!!
All these races were in 4HI. i believe i would have a way better trap speed and time in 2WD. (if i could get traction)
I have the time slips and a few rookie vids but i had an action packed weekend and do not feel like fooling with it. i will have them up soon though.
Threw away my slips, but i ran 15.2 @ 91mph. With a 2007 reg. cab 5.7L 4x4. That was my first time running it, will try again hopefully a little quicker next time.
You will. You gotta baby it a little off the line in the rcsb or you'll smoke the tires. Try to leave the tree a little bit harder than you would a street light. Once you feel the tires hook, mash it.
