I have a new personal best/worse, all in the same run lol. Fontana is such crappy track and even crappier with the weather being what it was today.

First run of the day:
r/t- .004 (personal best)
60'- 2.734
330- 8.010
1/8- 12.225
mph- 58.86
1000- 15.784
1/4- 18.739 (personal worse)
mph 76.24

Spun the whole way, and hit the rev limiter 4 times. My best run all day was a 14.5 and my times kept dropping to a constant 14.6XX, so i called it a day.

hold down the traction button for 5 seconds, let go then hold down for another 5 until only the 2 lights on the left hand side are on, cant remember which ones they are.

This brings up a good point. I was looking at my rear fender wells and noticed only one side had rubber under it, meaning only one tire is spinning. I though by doing the whole pressing the button twice thing gets both wheels spinning.

I had the exact same problem when I first tried to get my ET.....uncontrolled wheelspin of one tire only. I had to use four wheel drive, but now I can get a good launch in 2WD by using the ALSD.

You need to do only one of those presses. You want all three lights on, one of which is the ALSD. With all three lights on, the ALSD will work to prevent "one wheel peel" but it will not cut power as long as you don't try to take corners under power.

socaliallstar82, was it crowded at fontana? --how many runs did you get in?
Btw i found a website where they used a altimeter at fontana and they
found it rises nine feet from the start to the finish line.

DAMN IT! only once? every time i've gone to the track i've done the 5 sec hold twice.

It was dead, I got 5 runs in, could have had more, but my times weren't that great so i didn't feel the need to beat up my truck more than i had too. humidity was like 78%.

I ended up going with a bunch of titan guys from clubtitan.org since i cant really find any local tundra guys that can/wanna meet up. I took down some decently moded titans, and lost only the first race, that was my 18 sec run, lol. Really cool guys and nice to not be one of the only trucks there. there was a couple of f150's, one of which was blown and had a 6" lift on 35's running I think in the 15's.

I destroyed 2 civic SI's with a bunch of stickers, guess stickers don't add extra HP.

You had all the electronics disabled including ALSD. Do the single 5 second press next time and I predict much better traction.
