Imagine the traction issues with less weight over the drive's. beboff you could alway's strip out the interior for the track, remove all but the drivers seat, it's a lot of work and wont get you 300lbs but it will help
Finally went to the track yesterday. rcsb 5.7 2wd... Best run was
1/4... 14.151 @97.88 mph
1/8... 9.145 @ 78.45 mph
60' @ 2.149
Only mods were air raid cai, and magnaflow exhaust
How do I post my time slip?

Scan it. If you don't have a scanner, staples or office depot can scan it and save it to a flash drive or card for you. Have them save it as a pdf and a jpeg. Jpegs are more forum friendly.
You can post it here, too... http://www.dragtimes.com/Toyota--Tun...ag-Racing.html

I took second place in the brackett class at the Import Faceoff here in Shreveport Louisiana.
100% stock double cab, 2wd with a full tank of gas.
Has a little more in it since I was being easy on the launch and keeping it consistant.
Haven't seen much on what a 5.7 Crewmax 4x4 will do. Didn't buy it to race but I'm really curious since I saw an LTD on 20s do 0-60 in 6.5 and the quarter in low 15s and mine is an SR5 on 18s.

These 09's are impossible! Had TCS problems, even with it disabled. I really want to talk to one of you guys who might can guide me to disabling tcs completely, as It engages on every pass. first time for truck on the tack, at memphis motor sports park.

But I had a good bit of 15-16-17 sec runs because of the tcs.
That is a really good time! Was that in 2wd?If so how did you get traction?I had to use 4wd hi never could get traction in 2wd.My best run was 13.1 @102 in 4hi 1/8 was 8.3@83.My truck weights 5340.
Its was alright I suppose, I still need a good bit of tuning but not sure how I'll go about it.
I'm pretty sure you got your mods listed on here somewhere but I cant find them. I really would like to see the way you went with yours. Yeh I have a RWD. Basically its Good track and mickey Thompson radials. I'm still amazed to see a 13.1sec 4wd, that's sick. What gearing is that?

I just got the corsa touring exhaust out one side.Nothing else done yetAre those mickey thompson street drag radials 18 inch you have?I have the tow package with the 4.30 gear. gets off the line like a rocketGo to YOUTUBE seach( BEBOFFTRD) and you will see my 5 videos of my truck at the track with TRD 22 FORGED RIMS!!!Putting 18 inch on soon, then going back to the track
Wow... That's crazy fast, just for a exhaust. I guess the gearing does the trick.
Yes I have the 18" MT"S 305's as they are the only ones that will fit on the 9" wheel. They are on a ugly Gear alloy wheel Machine black with chrome front plate.
Oh I must add that I don't have the reflash yet, as Toyota hasn't released it for the 09's yet. Something about California emission testing. I feel like I'll get close to you after the flash, as it wont hit the rev limiter on every gear.
warning: I only put the MT's on the rear, with the stock wheels being on the front. IT is comparing the two wheel sets ( I assume) and telling the truck its spinning. Even with the nannies off, it still shut me down. I only got two full runs out of like 6. Just something for you to think about.

So you are saying that you have two different wheels?stock on front and after market on rear?I have 4 stock 18inch alloys 5 star 8 inch wide.I am going to order 265-45-18 M/T for the rear and 235-45-18 cheap used tires for the front. What do you think?

Yes I just got a couple extra wheels for the MT'S, just for the strip.
Well.. I'm not sure how sensitive the TCS is. I have about a 4" difference. I'm just now starting to figure the tundras out. Those sizes your Front wheels will be traveling 766revs per miles and your rear would be 733. I think you should be fine because your rear wheels will be traveling faster than the front thus it will not think your spinning. If you where to be running these all the time (would not reccomend it with the MT's) you could simply get dealership to adjust for wheel and tire size, if its necessary on the tundras.
It seems that the 09's have had alot of ECU changes from 08, and I'm running into road block after road block and theres no one that can tell me anything about it.

Beboff,
If you go this route make sure you do not launch/drive in 4WD at all, as cater said your revolutions per mile will be quite a bit different/ wheel speed and you could permanately damage your truck. If you are going this route for the 2wd aspect only you'll be just fine! good luck with the times...
Mods-True Flow XDI intake, DT tri-Y headers, 2 magna flow hi-flow cats, custom y pipe with crossover, Corsa Sport side exit exhaust, UniChip custom tune.
