On my last trip to the track, I got 15 runs in within 2 hours and I learned a few things....
1st. having the AC on will add just over 1/10 of a sec. to your time(i forgot to turn it off a couple of time....lol)
2nd. my truck shifted into 4th about 30-40 ft from the end....everytime....
And 3rd.....no matter what I can not beat a Bentley , corvette, or a viper....LOL
seriously though is we had a chip that would change the shift firmness and raise the limiter a couple hundred rpms i think we'd be in 3rd gear crossing the line and shave off a couple of tenths
i'm new to posting on here but here are my times from Santa Pod Raceway in England:
14.42 @ 94.5
Thats a DCSB 2wd with Flowmaster CB exhaust, T/C off, and no brake stand
This was on a pro tree as well. That should be the fastest Double Cab time I think.

No problems with the supercharger operation only thing I noticed is that it is getting a little louder and whines more even with light throttle under 2K rpms. Still a joy to drive though...

That's one quick crewmax for sure! I know a local hod rodder that had this Megacab diesel Ram running about that quick in the quarter but it was a banks twin turbo elaborate system with nitrous oxide that just fried turbos left and right, a few transmissions as well. Not reliable by any standards for it's performance. It was a bit heavier 3/4 ton body to move around but completely unuseable because any real show of power and something went snap or bang. Diesel performance just doesn't impress me. Somebody out here need to run a sickly oversized turbo charger or 2 on one of these tundras. Redo some of the internals while their at it to see what can really happen.

I am beginning to feel that way also. This is supposed to be all the rage these days, but the legitimate daily drivers don't seem all that much quicker than a grocery getter sedan with up-optioned engine, then tons of smoke added.
Maybe they have > 800 ft-lbs torque, but they can approach 8000 lbs in some variants...no exemption from the laws of physics. I think what attracts people to buy and mod diesel pickups is the ease at which power can be added, not so much their absolute performance.
hey guys i own an 03 tundra 4.7 supercharged and have not run it at the track yet but do u any of u know what it shoult run stock, im waiting to beef up the valve body, thanks
