Default TRD, Performance Handling Front Suspension Kit

Anybody heard of this? They have it online at Sparks but no real information....

TRD Parts

you will have to search for Tundra, then go to the suspension and brakes...apparently its new but no other information....price is $569.00

they also have it for the rear....price is $425....

Would be very interested to know what it includes and to hear first hand experience with it....Not cheap but if it cures the bed bounce that some are experiencing it may well be worth it....

Regards,

Just do a better search! I've seen a lot of info on here quite a few times!

I have the Ground Force Kit... which is the same as the TRD one since they maufacture the kit for TRD.

I love it but it will not cure your bed bounce. It just lowers your center of gravity. The rear leafs are actually really stiff still.

Bed bounce is caused by the flimsy rear end on our trucks.

This week or the next I have having some custom Fab work done!

Look for my post!

I e-mailed Mark (from Sparks), and here is what he siad about the lowering kit:

"The pro's of the TRD kit are, with this kit you can keep your towing capacity and payload, it is a 3 piece kit so if one part gets damaged in a wreck you can just get that part of the kit, and it's design by Toyota for the tundra and will keep all of your alignment specs with in factory tolerances.

About the only cons are the price and the shipping cost involved because of the 2 rear leaf spring that come in the kit, and the slightly stiffer rear ride. that's about all there is.

The other lowering kits use a flip kit on the rear and you lose about 50% of you towing and payload capacity."

Few days ago, Toyotaterritory said he has it in stock. See post:

I think you guys are mistaken. There is an SOS drop kit but that is different from this performance handling kit....Not sure that the performance handling kit lowers the vehicle at all....does not say anywhere that it is a lowering kit...at least not on the sparks site...

Actually the TRD kit does lower the truck. About 2" in the front and 4" in the rear. Its a really great kit, as it comes with everything. I've talked to my guy at TRD about this kit and they are all really excited about it. Sure its expensive but you pay for what you get.
