TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2007 and later Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "You happy with Nitto Terra Grapplers?", within the Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
I am still a few months away from pulling the trigger on tires and wheels but am trying to put together the perfect package. I like the look of the Nitto Terra Grapplers and know a bunch of you have them on your trucks, now that it has been a few months, do you like them? Any recommendations of good websites? Rimzoneonline.com seems pretty good.
I have been told they are soft rubber and wear out quick if you tow alot, but that was coming from a couple buddies with F250's and a Ram 2500 diesel, so maybe teh weight of teh truck had an affect on the wear
I am looking at getting a set of nittos in the fall before the snow flies. Rimzone pricing seems pretty reasonable, hopefully i can convince them to ship to Canada....
I've had them on for a couple of months now, and they ride perfect so far. Very smooth, no extra noise, great tires. I don't about the long term wear yet, I guess I'll have to wait and see.
Love my grapplers! Smooth and quieter than I thought. Get nothing but compliments by friends and complete strangers on the street.
My tires are 325/60/20, and rimzoneonline was definitely the cheapest route when I purchased my tires (and wheels). Well, thanks to them, my lift installer matched the lowest price.
$348 at Discount Tire....but, $330 at rimzone.

I had some Terra Grappler 35's on my Dodge and i had 40,000 - 45,000+ miles on them before i changed them out and i used to tow alot. They were very smooth and were an all around good tire. I ordered some 355/65R18's for my Tundra at $240 a piece from my tire guy. They retail for $335 on the sites i have seen.
