Please Help Me, I Need To Tow My Tundra, It Wont Fit On The Car Carrier, Needsolution

I'm moving cross country tomorrow morning, I rented a truck and a car carrier, loaded the rental truck up and re connected the car carrier and went to put my D-cab Tundra on it and it doesn't fit.
Has anyone towed their Tunda and fit it onto a rental car carrier.
I'm all packed up ready to go and need to find a solution ASAP.
I don't want to have a auto transport company do it and I prefer not to fly 1 way cross country to get my truck and do the same trip all over again.
Anyone have a solution, I would really appreciate it.

Why not ship it? It might be more cost efficient than flying back to get it and then spending a mint in driving it cross country. Plus the time you have to take off work to get it (easily a few days).

Just an idea...

Besides, what are the weight limits on those little dollys?

Don't uhaul have a drive on trailer to tow it which one did you get the dolly or the drive on (all 4 wheels are on the trailer)

I rented the biggest car carrier, tires barely fit, rubbed the sidewalls. The rear wheels dont even make it to the carrier, it's about a foot too short.
The manual says don't tow with a tow dolly or serious damage can be done to the transmission.
I think it's about 1K to go from Kansas City to Southern California.
thought I could do it cheaper.

Can you ship it by train. I had a freind send her car home by train up the east coast and it was not a big price. Don't know what kind of trains you have in your area or where you are going.

how many ppl are moving ? if its you and your wife or someone else that can drive have one person drive the truck and the other drive the rental truck or can you return the rental and jus cram everything into your truck ? trying to help you as much as i can i'll do some search for you

Also, I can't find anywhere in the manual what the truck weights, it says GVWR is 7,100lbs and max capicity is 1,395lbs. Does that mean the truck weights 5,705lbs
Double cab SR5 5.7 with tow package.

Looks like our payload went down on our trucks! Yikes - my effective payload is like 1200 lbs now! lol that's weak sauce.

how many miles are u driving ? do you think you can fit everything in your truck ? and rent a trailer and return what you have now ? maybe lose a little bit but have the problem solved ?

tried to sell the fridge,washer, dryer, couch, table, bedroom set and was going to rent a trailer, but couldn't sell my stuff.
Driving 1600 miles

nowhere to rent a trailer big enough to hold all my stuff, only trailer I found was a tiny enclosed trailer at Uhaul.
wish I could have found someone needing a trailer going my way, buy no luck.
