Anyone know if these kits stop the spray while the transmission upshifts, i.e. does it work with the drive-by-wire system?

They had a program on TRUCKS one time that had a switch installed on the gas pedal so that it only gave the shot when in full throtle. They said this was to insure the engine was at full intake so as not to loadup the manifold. This was a sure way not to do the wrong thing. Hitting the button on a unloaded run and above 3000 rpm. I don't know what this timing does but it is very important to get it right. My dads friend once put straight oxygen to his 69' roadrunner and it welded the piston to the bolck. He said it almost took their heads off for the first 3 seconds, then felt like the car was put in park.

and no glitches with the torque management between shifts I am assuming? Are you running any kind of electroninc throttle position activation switch or rpm switch. Sorry for all the questions. I have nitrous on 3 of the 5 cars I have and it would be on the Tundra too if had the time to reseach a few more things. What time I have had I have been working on a turbo kit for it.

Been running a 200 hp shot on a Chevy 350 (5.7) with stock rods and crank for over 12 years. The switch only works at wide open throttle. I don't use it a lot but still no problems! The Tundra with forged pieces should stand up to an occasional 100 hp shot just fine.

Well, it's been a long few months. I'm another one who has Nitrous installed on my RCSB 2WD. I have insisted on only using it with a window switch. The window switch was a bad switch, so I've spent the past 3 weeks waiting to get a new window switch. My original window switch was a MSD switch, but I was having trouble with it. It would activate the N20 when coming on into the RPM band; however, when it shifted from 1st to 2nd, the RPM's were already in the 'window' and N20 would shut down because it didn't come 'up and through' the RPM window. So MSD said it was a faulty switch. I took that one off and ordered one from ZEX and it came in last week. The truck should be done tommorrow, and I'll get it to the track HOPEFULLY this week to make some passes on it.
