Try some different configurations for the grounding wires. I initially had some video problems because I didn't ground the video feed properly. I have never felt that the SPG was interfering with my video, though. They shouldn't be part of the same circuit.
Also, are you using coaxial cable for the video signal? (I'll be you're not

). If not, then you are asking for video interference because video is a very low voltage signal. Coaxial cable negates the effect of magnetic fields on this video signal that are generated by current going through other wires such as generated by the SPG which you probably have running right alongside your video signal going to the switch in the console. It doesn't have to be any kind of thick coaxial cable. Most audio patch cable is coaxial like cable with RCA plugs.
