This is a discussion thread titled "Moto Metal 951's", within the Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
I am thinking about getting the 18" Moto Metal 951 wheels for my 07 crew max. Can anybody tell me if the TPMS that come in the stock wheels work in this wheel. Any info would be appreciated.
^my truck came with just the steel wheels and i put on the 951s and the sensors fit....Im tryin to sell my wheels now....let me know if youre interested
check my gallery for pics...its got a pic of my old wheels and then the 951s...
If you have the stock TRD 18" mag wheels then the sensors can be reused on the Moto 951s. That is what I did.

My friend put the 951's on his 07 Crewmax limited which came with the factory 20 inch rims. The dealer couldn't get his sensors to work in the 951's so they guy suggested they would put them all inside the spare and then the light wouldn't be on all the time. So they did and he's happy.
And he can't use the spare now. Better to buy a small riding lawnmower tire, throw the sensors in it, and stick it under the back seat or tied up under the truck. At least then you can use the spare in an emergency.
Better yet is a chunk of PVC, permanent end cap, screw on end cap, and a schrader valve. Build yourself a small pressure chamber that you can fit the sensors in and can hide anywhere in or on the truck.
