TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2007 and later Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "Tundra sighting on History Channel - Axe Men", within the Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
Episode 7 there is a quick 2 second seen of a logger getting out of his blue Tundra 4x4 DC with mud tires. Pretty cool considering 50% of the trucks on the show are Dodge Rams and the other 49% of trucks are Ford or Chevy.
Yeah watchin it now. I used to live in Astoria OR where a lot of the filming is being done and my parents still live there and I visit them often. The show is awesome and it was really cool to see a 2nd Gen Tundra. My wife has been watching episode 2 - 6 with me and says after seeing all the Dodges Ram 2500 Cummins in the show, "I miss our Dodge". I said will you miss it when you right out the monthly payment for the Tundra that is $200 less, and purchase gas for $3.70 per gallon versus $4.48 per gallon. She was quite after that. LOL!
Funny, have two Brits across the street that both drive Peugeot or what ever, an benz diesels...lol...cause they have always been hatin me for my v8 2001, 2002, now Crew2007. lol
There has also been a Blue Streak DC on Smallville on the CW too. Young Clark Kent gets a bad a$$ truck for the farm and yet he doesn't really need it.

As a forester, I've worked with loggers for many years. I've seen many a logger drive a Toyota truck, and every one I can recall liked his truck very much.
PS - I've never heard of a logger refer to himself or another logger as an "axeman". LOL. I don't recall ever actually seeing an axe on a logging unit.
The 1st TV program I can remember with the 2 GEN Tundra in it was an episode of "24" way back when. God I miss that show!
