This is a discussion thread titled "Getting 6" Lift installed at Toyota Dealer", within the Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
i just took my tundra to toyota to do my 6 lift. Well guys ill let yall know what happens they told me it would b ready today around 6. my tundra is a 4.7 trd double cab salsa red. Kevin a master mechanic from toyota said he will call me today around 3 to give an update of whats going on. the price i paid for it was 2400 drive out and a free trd air filter. 4 wheel parts gave me an offer at 2100 so not that bad 300 dollars more and i keep my warranty.
nice. my local dealer is asking 5300$ for 6" procomb stage 1 lift. i'm still looking arroud for best price, but looks like its gonna be way cheaper to get it done south the border.

Great !!! please post pics of your setup when done..... I too have the 4.7.
Very curious to what your gas mileage will be after this.. Most people here that have done the 6" have the 5.7 and lost 2-3 mgp. I've been wondering what this will do to the 4.7 as well.. I hope you like it... I want to do the same. Do you know your Average mpg before the lift? Please keep us posted.

Keep shopping around, you can get it done for a lot cheaper than that. My total otd cost was $4,800.

%#$@$ !!!! Man I wanted to here all about it.... I think you will be the first 4.7 with this lift. Really Really curious with the mileage and with the 4.10 gears..... I got to know !! I'll sit and wait for results.... I really want to do this but don't want to be getting below 10 mpg... Do you know on average how many gallons you were getting per tank or it doesn't matter to you.. Ive been getting an average 16-17 mpg 50/50 street highway and average 350+ some till my fuel light comes on.
well gas wise i would only get 290 the most cause the way i drive first one day ill drive slow then the next day ill drive fast ,and milieage i would only get 16 or 17 if im lucky and mostly 14. i didnt really care cause i dont drive it that much cause i have a eclipse gsx that is my mostly daily driver car . Speaking bout gas i dont care bout the prices and we need gas no matter what so y should we penny pinch on gas i just use exxon or shell and thats it.
i ordered my rims at 4wheelparts procomp wheels and procomp tires here is a pic of the rims 8128 GLOSS BLACK FINISH tell me what u think the color of my tundra is salsa red
Status? Pics? I am going to price out having my local dealership install some coilovers just to see if they will maintain the vehicle warranty if installed by a Toyota tech.
