Decided to trade-in my CrewMax for...

I bought my 08 CrewMax on Dec 30th. it was a Slate on black 4x2 SR5. I installed SS brushed boards, AVIC D3 Navi w/ BT and ipod controls, and integrated factory backup rear camera with the D3.

I've put only 3600 miles in 4 months. It was a nice truck but something was lacking. I looked at how much would it take to make it nicer and the prospects were...

so last weekend I decided to trade in my Crew Max and get one of the leftover 07 models. I'm glad I did it. I used to have mixed feelings seeing my CrewMax, now there's a smile on my face every time I'm walking by my truck.

I like to think that this is a VERY RARE combo. what do you think?

pics below after I washed it twice and applied Duragloss #101 and #105. I run out of time to apply DG AquaWax.

BTW I used a small point and shoot digi canon SD series, the lenses are crap, the color is so much more intense in reality

I love the SAP with the X-SP. I am kinda on the fence about X-SP (I like the leather and carbon fiber), but yours with the SAP is awesome!!!

I traded 08 CM for 07 DC (still new though)

I have similar CF kit for CrewMax for sale, check classified for details if interested.

last time I checked, JBT had 08 DC 4x4 with SAP, Black on Grey, no xsp though. such all black truck would be a good chalange for a detail freak like you (thanks to you I switched to DG products. great to work with, hope they last long)

Yeah, i've looked at the SAP, but I tow a tractor and bobcat once in a while and I need a hitch. Plus, I probably need the bigger rear bumper of the origional. The black with SAP at JBT is only $28,188 though lol!

The front looks killer though, the same color really makes it pop and the DG products look killer on it man!

Wow, that is crazy. I couldnt see paying tax on two expensive trucks so close together, and that is not taking in to account what was lost in depreciation on the 08.
Good luck with the truck, not trying to bring down the party. Your front bumper wont rust either!
