so since we are debunking this technology, is anyone going to debunk the HHO devices?
Heck no. . . I have a "perpetual motion machine" that I've been working on in my workshop. Hook it up between your battery and a container of water and it recharges your battery which you can use to run an electric motor which you can hook up to your alternator, which you then won't have to attach to your fanbelt, and without the drag of the alternator, you will get like 35 more HP and gain at least 3-4 MPG.

ROFL!!
I was actually paid by a guy a few years back that was trying to patent a perpetual motion thing like you describe (battery-motor-generator on a bicycle). I couldn't believe I was the first person, after friends and lawyers had been encouraging him, to tell him STOP WASTING YOUR TIME AND MONEY! I had to explain about conservation of energy and such, which he had ignored in all his "research". I gave him back his fee since I felt sorry for the guy.
I installed theFitch Fuel Catalyst on my tundra about 3 weeks ago. Very easy to install. I checked my fuel consumption rate on two tanks of gas driving the same route everyday at the speed limit. I was getting on avg. 14.3 Mpg. I then installed my Fitch Fuel Catalyst. Drove the same route each day at the speed limit for two full tanks. 16.2 Mpg! Wow! It really works. I was very skeptical, but I saw the product on horsepower TV on spike. They tested it on the dyno on a corvette engine. It showed the fuel consumption decreased and power increased on the dyno. For a $200 its well worth the investment. Check them out!
Whats the big deal. I get between 16-17 without it. Why would I spend $200 to get what I am getting.
It is not made to get you around 17 it is made to help you achieve higher mpg's than you are getting right now...since he jumped 2 maybe you'll end up getting 19??? who knows...

If this worked Toyota would have already installed it on our trucks. No aftermarket fuel savers have ever worked. Oops, I forgot one that did. In the 70s there was a device that disconnected the AC compressor when you were accelerating. Today all vehicles, with AC, have the same thing.

Actually, that's not quite true. If you spend around $7,000 (the only semi-legitimate quote I've heard) you can get propane tanks, a fuel system, a new computer, and drilled out intake manifold ports, and some other stuff I forget, and you'll save gasoline. You will have to buy propane, though, and I haven't heard if they have the system for the new Tundra

Yes, but unless those systems have become way more efficient recently, all through the years various engines running on propane got about 3 MPG less than it would on gasoline.
Rereading your post I see you're talking about adding propane to a gas engine, sorry I was referring to the 100% propane conversions. (Still can find how to delete a post here)

No you were right the first time. I don't think you can simultaneously supply gasoline and propane to the engine. Propane vehicle I drove before had two fuel systems, you could switch on the fly between. Propane was great if driving unloaded, mileage was similar or slightly worse but cost was about 2/3 of gas (the difference is bigger now). When towing, propane became much worse in terms of efficiency, so you'd switch back to gasoline.

so I watched trucks the other day and guess what? They had test results on the Fitch Fuel Catalyst installed on the dodge. After 12 tanks of gas they averaged .8 mpg increase on every gallon of gas. So if this works Toyota would have already installed it right? Not exactly, if they installed everything that worked better on a factory vehicle there would be no such thing as aftermarket companies. A 6 inch lift rides better and performs better than a stock ride so why didn't Toyota install at the factory? Just my 2 cents, but there seems to be more proof that the catalyst works than not. i have several friends that are running them in their trucks and have noticed 1-3 mpg increases. I will definately try one seeing i get an average of 12-14 mpgs in my tundra, not the 17-19 a lot of people are posting, and yes there are to many things to consider; tire size, temp, driving conditions, etc but i will try it for 200 bucks and if it increases 1-2 mpg per gallon of fuel than it will pay for itself in short order.
A lot of these miracle MPG boosters "work" simply by tricking the ECM in running the the engine leaner, thus decreasing overall fuel consumption. I highly doubt your getting any more of an effective burn of the air/fuel mixture in the combustion chamber - Toyota has done their homework on the 5.7 in terms of cylinder head design to get the most possible mileage and power out of it. There's always room to tweak a little, but there's only so far you can safely go in terms of leaning things out and changing ignition timing to keep things safe for the engine under all operating and load conditions.

There are many companies with large fleets of cars and trucks. Consider UPS. They probably spend several billion dollars a year on fuel. Consider the airlines, which also spend billions a year on fuel.
Now don't you think it's unlikely for them to not be using the WhammyGasser mark XXV that promises 5 to 15 percent increase in fuel efficiency? That translates to 50 to 150 million dollars in savings per year!
Not to mention the car manufacturers. A few years back GM had to build a $400 million plant just to build newer more fuel-efficient engines. Funny that they did that instead of just installing a Zappo-Matic Ultra in every new car for under $20 per unit.
