Well, I just checked out 4WheelParts Jeff, and they quoted me a Procomp Stage 2 kit, including the coil overs, installed for $3250.00. They said I would save about $900.00 if I went with the stage 1 kit. Well, that's not bad I guess. what do you think?
Andy,
That sounds about right.....the Stage I is about $1000 cheaper than the Stage II...if I remember correctly. All Out charged me $600 for labor/installation, so keep that in mind and see how cheap you can find the actual lift kits. I'm sure other shops will also comp as well.

I installed mine two days ago and it only took about two hours and it was done. Nothin' but compliments since. I think they are incredible and I am still getting used to the coolness factor!!!!!
Oh by the way, that is one sick a$$ truck and as soon as I can afford it I will be putting a 6"er on mine!

Wow, 2 hour install is not bad at all! Well, I'm going to start scrounging some $$$ together and save up for them. Haven't heard anything bad about them yet, so that's good. Thanks all for the info.

Thanks alot Jeff. At least now I know of the installation cost. I told them what you suggested about the coil overs. and the guy 'his name's Anthony' at 4WheelParts says I should might as well go with the stage 2. His reason: I may not do alot or any OFFROADING, but the sway bars and struts will help keep the truck from swaying when in turns. Funny, I'm still thinking. I would love to get the shiznit, but budget is also a factor. I do so love the new 08' MotoMetal's 957 in black and chrome and the Nitto Mud Grapplers. My first wheel choice is the Mamba M3. But anyways, so far, that's all I've come up with. I did asks lots of questions as you wisely suggested.
The stage 1 is pretty simple. The stage 2 has more parts to it. decisions.decisions.decisions.
dude i just got my lift bout a month look at my pics. But i really need power steps. What happened with that group buy on them.Im ready when yall r ready
hey xhtb21tx, that's also a procomp stage 1 6" kit? the wheels and tires look reall nicee. But I would have slap a 37" tire on em. But they look reall nice with them procomp wheels.
Sorry, don't have any pics as of yet but I will try and get them up soon!!!!
As far as the group Buy is concerned, I have been wanting these steps for a while and I am the one that tried to get Realtruck.com to get it going but it never panned out. The discount that was offered was about the same as you could get anywhere on t web.
