I am looking to get a set also. I am waiting to hear back from him about getting a color matched grill surround also. He said he has nothing in stock. They are all made to order, so do not expect quick turn arounds.

When you get an answer about the grill, will you please post it in here. I want to get the grill as well.

Especially for the ones that don't have a factory colormatched option from the factory like Salsa Red. Do they fill in the "scoop" also??

He said they would do just about any custom work. I am thinking my local body shop will still be cheaper because of shipping. The only difference would be the ability to sell the stock chrome pieces to recoup some cash. I was quoted $200 to paint the mirror caps and grill surround by my local body shop.

I am having my local bobdy shop paint these up. They want $245 to do the job. I am thinking of protecting then with 3M clear bra after painting. We get alot of bug guts on them.

I am assuming you mean the grill and both mirror covers for that price, which is about the norm. Keep in mind, red is the most expensive color, esp. pearl red [salsa] due to the cost of the mixing colors. Most bodyshops won't have all of the '07 on up colors on the shelf, and will have to mix up 1/2 pint or so of basecoat [smaller quantities of some colors are not guaranteed to match], just to use a few grams of color to paint your mirrors. In other words, maybe $100 worth of product, including primer, basecoat, reducer, clearcoat and catalyst are required to refinish something as insignificant as a couple of plastic mirror covers. A group buy wouldn't make sense unless everyone had the same color
An extra coat of clearcoat [protection from bugs] is in order, as well. If you opt for the clear bra, make sure your paint has had plenty of time to cure before covering it, as evaporating solvents can become trapped under the film and cause bubbles. Bug damage can be minimized by using a good wax and above all, remove the highly acidic digestive acids splattered on your vehicle asap.

I did not mean a group buy in that sense, but maybe a group of Tundras done at the same time. We would maybe get a brake on the cost of sand blasting and such. Was just a thought/excuss to have a get together. With the cost of gas, it maybe cheaper to have the guy in the ebay link do it. The local shop I talked to will bake after painting and you would only have to wait one week before applying clear bra pieces, or so I was told.
