Thanks for the info. I had mine installed by the dealer so I have no idea if he set scrolling on. Did not even know it had that option. All of my sirius units have always scrolled and I assumed this one would also. Don't think they will want to tear into it to see if the switch is set to on. This unit has NEVER scrolled. Very irritating.

Does the other end of the t wire that came with my directed unit go somewhere?

The manual said you need to cycle the ignition power off and on before the HU will find the Sirius tuner. This didn't work and I had nothing. I called directed today and he suggested disconnecting the battery for a minute. Ta-Da !!! I have Sirius. I also had to run through the presets "162534" to get equal volume.

Many thanks, Wleeb!!!

I rerouted my power and antenna thanks to your videos.. Since I'm running a Skyfi2 (XM), i pulled out the drink holder & power panel, tapped an aux outlet into the cigarette lighter (switched) and hid all the wires out of site.. I also used your idea of making a ferrous mount (coffee can bottom) for the antenna instead of using double stick tape..

Thanks for taking the time to help us!!!

Russ

I got my kit yesterday. I bought it from tss-radio.com. It was a couple of $ more (<$10), but I'm paranoid about ebay/PayPal. Got the unit in two days, which was a nice surprise. They also sent a card explaining the "162534" code with the kit.

The video helped out a ton. Thanks again for putting that together.

I did a couple of things a little different. I didn't have the center speaker, so there was no bolt there. I cut off a metal plate from an old squeeze mop, and just tie wrapped it down in that space. Seems to work fine (no rattles), but I may experiment with other antennae locations.

The other thing I did, rather than bolting down the units, I tied them together using the supplied brackets (one side of each bracket affixed to each module), and put some adhesive velcro on the brackets. There doesn't seem to be any issue with grounding, so I think it will work out fine.

Thanks again.

Does anyone know the wire colors for the factory AUX input. I'm installing an aftermarket and it would be sleek to keep the factory input and wire it through my pioneer deck, if i can find the colors that is. Thanks guys

Dumb question.

I have the:

Tundra grade stereo without the CD chager . Does this unit have the capability of integrating Sirius into it?
