Nice write up. There's something familiar about the approach...

I went ahead and made a couple per your instructions. The hardest part is getting that little square hole punched out without opening up an artery in your hand. I wish my pair were as nice as yours.

You didn't mention what movies have DVD cases would work the best. I recommend anything with Meryl Streep and any episode of Sex and the City to use as raw material.

Note: You are referenced in the beginning

I think I used one of those AOL DVD boxes that used to come in the mail every other day...for whatever reason, I saved all the cases and threw out the rest...I'm a pack rat. (no offense to rats)

Great idea. I'll be building some soon. Looks like we bought our Tundras from the dealer. Toyota of Puyallup. Have you had your tailgate taken care of yet? Just had mine done. The new ones are much better built. Have pictures before and after if you'd like.

TFF ....

my wife will be donating her "sense and sensability" dvd case for this project and i am sure somehow the actual dvd will become damaged in the process.

living in boulder i think an appropriate beer choice will be some "Colorado Kind Ale" from the local brew pub.
