i read about your truck, i really wanted 1 just like your's, 26"'s, with the many upgrades you want. i wanted to see what red rock looks like.
i thought the trd came with cai, bilstein shocks, trd exhaust, trd sway bar trd big brake's.
in my opinion they all should come fully equiped.
now add the supercharger, and it's close to being completed.
god, we are on the same page.
belive me i'm in no rush.
we have maroone, king, and hendrickson. none have exactly what i want. king has something close.
i will see them this coming week with my offer of.
but i'm sure they will decline. but i nothing but time.

tundrulo i read a few posts from the southeast forum about this.
it is sad that the trd supercharger needs a piggie back to gain the full potential of the trd supercharger. i would read what the post say's. it might enlighten you.
i'm really bummed, by what was said.
thanks anyway for your offer.

says something about computerized controls holding the truck back.
and
limitors holding it back.
it could be so much more.
so until someone figures out how to disable, to gain all it can be,
i keep waiting & WATCHING.
gorilla
Not to worry, Gorilla, the people that we rode in the truck with, have mentioned that they have been working with their techstream to finetune the parameters of the truck to re-test on the chassis dyno.
"take this from a guy who just endured a very impressive bit of HORSEPOWER!!! That thing rocks!!! and it was being held back due to the computerized driving control safetys, someone needs to set up a piggy back to override the traction control and speed limiter. We also watched it spank a HD duramax with some heavy mods to it...SUPERTUNDRA WHOOPED ARSE ON THAT TURBODIESEL."
Have you read anything else about this truck? You do know the computer controlled safety nannies can be disabled with the push of a button correct? You also know no one can bypass the speed limiter and the full potential of the SC is realised long before 115.
please don't misunderstand me!
no doom and gloom.
it seemed to leave me wanting.
for some that would be enough, but for me personlly i would want all it could be for 7g's. i think for that price i have that right.
believe me i do want this truck why because it's the newest & latest thing.
i'm still up in the air.
i'm in no hurry,i'm waiting for nyctundra08 he has the key to unlock my bank account.

Problem is that:
1. You sell your Tundra real cheap
2. Buy an expensive Tundra to tune it
3. Buy an experimental Turbo Kit (with almost no testing done to it-comparting to TRD)
4. Void your Warrenty
5. Since you don't have your own shop to tune your truck, you need to pay more money for better performance
6. After you think you have fast truck, another new super nice and fast truck comes out, and you need something better - and there is no end to it
7. And after all, you spend so much money, and your truck is worth a lot less then it would worth being stock.
8. Back to square 1.
LOL... I know I am a***ole, but that that is truth.
I have a friend who installed twin supercharger into E39 M5 and spend about 55g for installation and tuning... his car spend more time in the shop then driving sadly. But you know, if you have money - go for it
