My VIN appears to be AFTER the range that they list on the TSB and my truck definitely does this. I am still going to take it in when I get a chance though. I would think that it should still be covered under the powertrain warranty IF it is still showing the symptoms that they list in the tech's "test" that is on the TSB..
Daguer... Your last post cracks me up... I'm curious... What is ganya?

I installed the Truxxx 3/1 leveling kit the day after I got it. PAIN IN THE A!! Get a shop to do it!!
Excalibur AL-2000 2-way pager alarm with remote start and dark as legally possible tint installed the very next day
305/55/20 Toyo A/T tires and black with machined lip ATX Vice wheels installed the day after that!
Aries 4" Deluxe Oval tube steps.
Sirius Satelite Radio installed using wleeb's awesome DIY.
Mine is also after the VIN range, yet I feel it. Something needs to be done about this. Do we have a contact at Toyota that can respond since obviously we have trucks that are out of the range but something isn't right.

Naked, no one will ever know what just passed them up. Heck they probably don't even know the color.
I would say to just take it in first- and try to get it covered under the warranty. Print out the TSB and show it to them- to show that it IS a problems that Toyota has identified that needs to be fixed, then take them for a drive to show them that your truck is doing this. Then ask them to cover it under the warranty. If they refuse- then THAT is when you can get upset about it, plead your case, and then tell them that if they don't help you get this problem fixed under your warranty that you will call Toyota and escalate it with their customer relations dept. Like someone else said- dealers to NOT like issues to be escalated up to Toyota. It reflects bad on them, and they are "graded" very highly on cusomter satisfaction.

ok i called toyota and talked about this bulletin. toyota was very kind and helped me on this matter. that sent a letter to whoever is in charge at the dealer i bought the truck. i went today to the dealer about 5pm and everybody was very kind. specially sales supervisor who helped me when i bought it. the called their best mechanic, he was very kind also.
they checked for the noise and said that the little slack i have was normal and i beleive it cus i feel it on many cars that i remember like for example the f150 i had before, bronco chevrolet etc. he also said that my vin was after this deffect.
in conclusion, for those of you that their vin is not on the list, and if the little slack, is just too little , THEN IS NORMAL. but if you feel its not , then take it and have it checked. but beleive me, they are not going to change something thats is right. and also i think , you dont want then to mess with it just because you have a less than a sec slack. remember that it is under the powertrain warranty and you have 60.000 miles warranty. so you have all that time figure out. thanks guys for everything.
chixdigit keep in touch lol
