Thanks for the heads up. I don't have this problem, but I wonder how many vehicles are affected?

Mine has it! I will be going in soon to have it fixed. At first I thought it might just be the road surface at intersections. No other problems or issues at 37,000 miles

Thanks for posting this. I have the issue, already had the torque converter replaced right after I bought my '07 about 7,000 miles/months ago. That didn't help the problem at all. I just called my dealer and will be dropping it off in the morning.

What exactly does this feel like? I read the TSB, but I'd like to hear a real-world experience with the problem.

I am pretty sure that I have this on my brand new '08 4x4 that I picked up on June 1. I don't actually HEAR any clunking noise at all, but I can FEEL it.
If I come to a red light, or stop sign, and come to a complete stop, then give it gas to get going again, I feel a sort of lag, or "engagement" sensation when I first give it gas. It feels like the rear diff has some "slack" in the gearing, and the wheels don't get going at the same time that the driveshaft is going. That is the best way that I can explain it. I can also say that it does this all the time in a situation like I explained above. I do NOT get this sensation after the truck gets moving (other people have reported feeling this when the truck goes into overdrive).
I hope that helps.

As others have said it's not really something you hear but rather you feel it. Mine does it every single time i come to a complete stop and then take off again. Coming to a stop its almost like you get nudged from behind, you feel a thud or clunk kind of like the rear end is settling. Taking off the best way i can describe it is that it feels like there is slack in the drive line. Like it takes a split second for things to tighten up.

thanks for posting that tsb. i have had it since day one. i will print this off and take it to the dealer, because they will probably no nothing about it. one question, i have a readylift spacer in front and a 1'' block in the back. has anybody had a front spacer and tried to do warranty work. i just dont want them to say that this is the problem. i guess if they issued a tsb for this it doesnt matter, since it would do it without the lift. anybody want to shed some light on this.
