Talked to a Jack B at Unichip a few minutes ago and harnesses have not come in yet , (yes i know NOLA_1906 said yesterday or today, the day is still young) -also asked about shift points and shift firmness and he said they don't do that because it leaves a "footprint" --is this something that can be done at a "authorized unichip tuner" in the future??

Sorry, but all that I can do is relay what Mike tells me. He thought that the harnesses would be in early this week, as evidenced by his email that I posted. I'm not sure about the shift points. Mike said that they were working on ways to accomplish this and removal of the speed limiter without leaving a footprint. He didn't think that would happen before this batch shipped, but they could be updated afterwards.

I'd Pee on a spark plug if it would help get the harnesses in quicker.. Take one for the team you know..... lol

Just got another email from Mike at UniChip asking if I had a 5.7L or 4.7L should be almost time.Hell I'll pee on the other 7, for good measure.

Here's a response I got from Unchip:

Do you know when the PnP will ship? Are you still waiting on the harnesses?

I don’t want to set a date just for this reason. The harness have not shown up yet. We are all still waiting. Please let everyone know to be patient. We will work day and night to get them out as soon as they get here. We have your groups 50 kits and about 150 more to ship out when they get here.

I got called this evening, to verify my setup , so things are moving forward. They told me there will be a call soon to get credit card info for final billing soon, and it will be conducted over the phone. No mention of if the harnesses were actually there .

Have they ever released the gains from this thing yet??? that was the reason I didnt pay my deposit. Im kinda glad I didnt cause id kill myself waiting for it.

Me too... LoL. I was just hoping to get the thing before I leave Clovis NM back to FL. You know so I could report any MPG changes ect.

Waiting sucks... But I am getting used to it. I just got my ED Brown before I left for this trip.

Guys,

Things are definitely moving forward. What sucks is that its out of Unichip's hands right now until the damn harnesses arrive. They are in a semi on their way to Unichip now. If Mike can't set a date, then I won't either, but it should be very, very soon. The harnesses still need to be tested for quality control. You don't want to get a harness that doesn't work properly because they didn't take an extra day or two to test it. I appreciate everyones patience. We've been lucky to get a good group of members on this group buy. I was expecting more people to be b'ching and complaining, but that's not the case. Mike asked me to contact some of you because he is waiting on verification of your info. I sent you pm's so contact him ASAP.

Mike is also looking for a 2nd gen Tundra with the 4.7 for additional testing and test fitting of the harness. Anyone in or around Hillsboro, Oregon, give them a call.
