All, I have received the go ahead from Unichip to set up a group buy. Before I post any info on discounts, which is significant, can someone help me in setting up the group buy. Who do I need to contact? I don't want to start a thread that will get deleted.

Oh, I forgot to mention that this group buy will extend to ALL Toyota trucks and SUV's that Unichip has designed a harness for, so this isn't limited to 07 tundra 5.7's. I have a list of vehicles that Unichip sent me. I'll post that as well once I have approval. Cross your fingers...

Well, I don't know if I would call getting the Unichip "settling" I think you'll be very happy with it. The only advantage NYC may have if he produces something is the speed limiter removal. If this has already been done by someone before him, I'm sure others will figure it out. This is a plug and play unit, no hardwiring required. As far as a tune for the supercharger, as soon as Unichip can get a truck with one installed, they can develop a tune. they have tunes for the previous Tundra supercharger as well as the taco's. I'm still waiting on a mod to answer my pm's for the group buy. Are there ANY mods out there that can give approval?

Well, I've submitted all relevant information to NHParrot. I'm waiting on his approval and then a poll will be set up to determine whether or not there will be enough interest. I think the fact that this group buy extends to ALL Toyo trucks will help to get the number needed for the group buy. Its at a rate that will comparable very favorably to "other" tuners. Anyway, I'm leaving work now, lol, hopefully I'll have more info tomorrow and I can begin another thread instead of thread-jacking NYC.

TS members, I have arranged a group buy with Unichip for the 07+ Tundra as well as ALL other Toyota trucks and SUV's including previous model Tundra's, Tacoma's, FJ Cruisers, 4 Runner, etc. The group buy price is only $599.00 which is down from $778.00! The minimum required is 50 units. This should be doable considering it includes all trucks and SUV's. I will be posting dyno sheets showing whp increases for stock as well as modified Tundra's as well as mpg increases and 0-60 1/4 mile numbers. Thanks for your help.

My Unichip contact told me more info will be available in a week or two. Projected crank numbers will meet or exceed 20hp/20tq stock and 40hp/40tq with cai, cb exhaust and headers. These trucks run pig rich. With quality bolt-ons and the Unichip, we will see significant gains that can be felt, in additon to 2-3 mpg increases! Unichip is mixing different cai and exhaust combos. They do not have whp dyno's and will have to dyno the truck elsewhere, that is what will take some time. Read more about it on their website.

Not yet. There aren't many owners with the chargers installed. Unichip would need someone with one installed to bring their truck to them to tune for it. So, anyone out there close to them with a supercharger, stop by their office. They are a big company, however, with ties to some dealerships, so they may be able to work something out soon. They have done it for the 1st gen supercharged Tundra's, so they will definitely do it for the 07+
