I got mine in today. Hope to get it installed next week. Trying to get ready for this tropical storm/hurricane that will be coming through. And the next one... and the next one.
OK: here is something for someone to check out. I have a scangauge2 and installed the HPR (horsepower) xgauge. Before i installed the UNICHIP i do not remember seeing the HPR reading get over 391 with CAI and CATBACK installed. Now I get up to 411 with the HPR gauge. If anyone has one of these scangauge2 can you check to see what you are reading. Even if no unichip I would be intrested. This is with the 87 octane. I will see if it jumps higher when this tank of 87 is done. Got to try some premium .

I had to jump onto it today to merge into traffic and I can definitely say that the Tundra launched a lot harder and got up to 60 mph a lot faster than before the chip. So far I am happy with the chip and I would like to thank Nola for setting this up.

Anyone used a Unichip on their 4.7 yet? I'm wondering what kind of gains I would see on my truck with a CAI and full exhaust.
I posted earlier in this thread about receiving the 5.7 chip when I had ordered the 4.7. I was contacted by Michael Timmons (Unichip sales director)who was very apologetic. Michael has emailed me almost every day to keep me up to date on the status of the 4.7. They have now found a truck and are working on the map. The chips should be out very soon. After the initial dissapointment, I must say that the communication and commitment shown by Mr. Timmons is outstanding.
Just wanted to echo the samething Rut said!!!
I'm a happy customer!

This is the first time that I have had access to the internet since Monday. I'm glad to hear that most are enjoying their chips! For those who are having issues, Unichip's customer service is top notch. They will do whatever it takes to ensure that we are satisfied with their product. Some trucks will need a little more time than others to relearn once the chip is installed. Unfortunately, due to Hurricane Gustav, I haven't even received my tuner, so consider yourselves lucky! It should arrive today, and even though I have tons of tree branches littering my yard, I'll be outside installing my Unichip! I'm sure my wife won't like that, lol.

Good to hear! Let me know what you think once you get yours. I think a Unichip tuner would be perfect to wrap up my performance mods and squeeze out as much power as possible.

NOLA,
Glad to hear you and yours are all ok! Yeah if all you have to do is clean up yard debris, then it's all good. Living in NW FL I've been through my share of hurricanes also, not to mention Ike is on the way
Maybe she will give you a break and you can go install it real quick like, only takes about 15-20 minutes.
Good luck and thanks again,

Oh yeah 07Tundra4.7 lookout Ike is coming your way!!!
Thanks man. Unfortunately, I missed the Fed Ex guy today since I'm trying to catch up on work. He's supposed to redeliver tomorrow. The wait is killing me!

Not looking forward to that.
I already had to wait half an hour in line to fill the tank in my Camry, and they were out of regular already.
