So the fedex guy came today, and 20 minutes later the unichip was on my truck. Definite defintie improvment in throttle responce and pick up. Ill be heading to the track this thursday night and ill post my times. I have two different times already with and without the headers (slower with the headers), so hopefully the chip gets me back to where im supposed to be.

Don't forget to tweak the air/fuel mixture yourself at some point. You may be leaving some on the table by relying on an "off-the-shelf" map.

I believe they mapped alot of common accesories , CAI, headers , and catbacks for the new 5.7. The were working as we were putting the buy together to get the testing done so they could ship out completely tuned chips.

Yeh I know that they have maps for a lot of boltons like exhaust and CAI, but I didn't know they had tested and have maps for headers.

UniChip has maps for:
Headers + Cat-Back + CAI
Headers + Cat-Back + Stock Intake
Stock Headers + Cat-Back + CAI
Stock Headers + Cat-Back + Stock Intake
Stock Headers + Stock Exhaust + CAI
Stock Headers + Stock Exhaust + Stock Intake (all OEM)

You name it, they may have a map for it. If you have something special, you'll never know unless you ask them. And if you ask them and they do not have it, they will probably make it.

Also, please don't misinterpret a G-Tech graph for a Dyno graph.

Mine is mapped for Airaid CAI, Headers and Catback exhaust. Now if only my truck and I were in the same area, I could install it. I lent my truck to my Dad for a couple of weeks.

Please let me know what you think once you install it as our trucks are very similar!

Kinda weird how this time around the unichip is actually placed under the hood. The one I had for my 01 tundra was behind the glove box. I hope heat isnt going to be an issue from being under the hood, or water some how getting to it. And just like the one on my 01, still one hell of a tight fit. The velcro didnt hold too well, but i fixed that with 2 small screws into the top of the fuse box in front of the unichip. couple of zip ties and everything is nice and snug.

You have to contact them for any info on a tuner for our trucks. They don't have any info (not even price) on the web site.
