Guys, If you have any questions on your unichip please contact our Customer Support at 1.866.864.2447 ex. 1508 or email techsupport@unichip.us. I see a few questions in this forum, I asked our tech support manager if anyone has contacted him and he only had one guy with 1 question. We are here to help. so please give us a call.
OK...so I called UC this afternoon and talked to Michael in the tech dept. I was concerned, after reading some posts that I might have gotten the wrong map because of mistakes in shipping or something else.
Anyway...THEY ARE VERY HELPFUL! This guy did everything he could possibly do to help me out. He took the numbers from me, looked up the mapping in his computer, and told me what it was for. It was right on the money for my Tundra.
I strongly suggest that if you have any questions or concerns, give them a call.
Wasn't bashing, just venting.
NOLA, I don't think you realize what elevation does to fuel mappings, the lowest elevations I see is almost 2500 feet and that's in the eastern part of the state. Most of my driving is 3400-7000 feet.
It's not the tranny either, it's just mapping that isn't working in my truck, actually both A and B. My stock 08 Crewmax pretty much killed the 07 last night. I'm pulled the chip and the truck actually felt like it had better power again. I'm fairly certain I have a bad map or maybe a bad harness, although I don't know if the truck would even run with a fubar'd harness. I'll be calling Mike today to talk about the bog and lack of power in slower speeds until the truck goes over 4000 rpm and the other issues. I'm guessing I'll send in the unit for a new flash and hopefully all will be well....

Got an update on fuel mileage for you guys. I have a scangauge2 that has been reading 15.8-15.9 mpg for my trip to work every morning. The past 3 days this week it is reading 18.0 mpg. I am hoping this is a good number. I will run the hand calcs when I refill this week.

Definitely call Unichip and have them look into it. There could be a number of issues that could be causing you problems.

Ok, so you only did two runs?
When did you take the chip out? First pull or second pull?
Did you disconnect the battery? I hope not.
Also, what mods are on your Tundra? because your (without chip) numbers are higher than stock already.

Somethings really wrong with the AFR there, but thats acutally pretty good power for 15:1 AFR. Fualty UNICHIP maybe.
I'm sure these trucks would do well at 12.5:1 AFR @ WOT.

Unichip guy said you have to turn off all the nanny stuff on the dyno, they had the same problems.
Anyways, thanks for posting your graphs.
