hi, i live in south florida , to give you a idea :fort lauderdale, boca raton, miami,. southeast coast. i have access to a mustang dyno wideband , in boca.
now if we have 5 or 6 or more of us. let's get our UNICHIP custom tune'ed. i have no idea what the owner of the shop would want, or what you would want. for that day.
and
i assume you have access to the unichip program to tune the unichip module. but lets see how many unichip owners here is south florida we are?
ring in. for this custom map. persoanllly i want both A & B switches mapped.
gorilla
i would be willing to do it for $500 a day plus a ride to and from the airport along with a ticket divide by 5 or 6
Are there any updates on the flux release yet and when they will be mailed out?
I haven't received any firm release dates as of yet. The Flux software and hardware are ready to go I believe. They are just making a few tweaks and then testing.

I filled up with 93 octane premium this weekend and flipped the switch on my Unichip. After driving around for a few miles I noticed more power and throttle response. I definitely felt better acceleration. I ended up at 15.2 mpg's on my last tank of regular. Before the chip, I was at 14.2 or so. If I drove like a grandma, I probably could have gotten at least 1.5 more mpg's, but I couldn't keep from putting my foot in it. I'm interested to see what kind of mpg's I get with premium fuel. The numbers that Andrew is getting with his tuning is impressive. The tuner in my area is very good also, but I don't know when I'll get it done. He's an hour and a half away and I would like to get a custom exhaust like Ryder exiting the side first.

I went back to San Dimas Auto to get the truck dyno'd again, this time in 4th gear, I wont say how he did it, maybe Andrew will want to talk about it later. In Fourth gear i was putting out 288 hp and 304 tq to the wheel. Andrew's gonna post my dyno chart up later.

this is what mike told me bout my tuner for the unichip tuner
I wanted to let the two of you know what’s going on
with your 4.7L Unichip performance kits. We have not shipped them yet. On
Friday we finished a new product for the 4.7 Tundra’s and want you 2 guys
to be the first to try it J ! We will
be testing today and Tuesday. If all goes well we will be shipping by Wed.
What did we do?
We added a third position on the MAP switch! 87 octane
MAP, 91+ MAP and NOW… A GAS MILLAGE MAP! This is the first for us
in the Toyota line of trucks. We’ve had great success on the Nissans and
thought we should pass it along to the Toyota guys. We have also adjusted the
wide open throttle (WOT) positions. This will help with throttle
responses and allows us to manage your fuel economy better. In the millage MAP
you should get better millage when driving around town.
We hope that a few days extra won’t be too long to
wait but we’re sure that the added value will more than make up for it!

Yeah, you're lucky for now. The WOT positions is something that will be adjusted for us 5.7 guys as well. I guess since you mentioned it first I can verify that we will have that option as well, but it won't just be for economy I don't know how it affects those without Flux because we don't have that third switch. Again, this is why I got Flux. It holds five maps and the economy map will be one of them.
