I think it runs about 13.8. Im not too sure, the only time we measured this was in the first dyno run last week when the truck was tuned. 13.8 was the average after the tune, dunno if this helps i could be wrong.

So nola thanks for the group buy
What the Flux allows is access to FIVE different maps instead of three like on your chip or two like on ours, meaning one of my maps can be a mileage map, one a 93 octane performance map, one a 87 octane performance map, and I still have two slots open for a valet map or starter disable map. All of them switchable via bluetooth PDA. I know, Flux won't be ready probably until the end of October.

What I don't understand with Flux, is why we won't be able to down load any updated maps from their website? Seems like a feature that would be really nice and should be easily achievable. I have asked them about this, but never got a response.

As far as I know, that is one of the main features of Flux, the ability to download maps from their website. This is stated in the Flux "more info" PDF on their website. It does say that it will be an update, meaning the ability to download maps from their website could coincide with Flux being released or some time thereafter.

The truck shifting into second is the reason Unichip and every other aftermarket company has not shown dynos, only gains. Andrew figured this out.

Did Andrew figure it out on his own? I agree with your thoughts on the speed limiter. Its great for the dyno, but I don't think its safe to drive something this big over 130, especially without properly modifying the truck to do so.

Someone on an FJ Cruiser Forum figured out how to disable the VSC, ABS, and top speed limiter by pulling out a plug from an ECU in the engine bay. Only problem is that the dash lights up with warning lights and they need to be cleared.

See link below.

how to disable VSC (it works) - Toyota FJ Cruiser Forum

I am assuming that this would be similar with the Tundra. Now if someone can figure out which plug it is...Any thoughts?

Would be great to figure this out so that can do a 4th gear dyno pull during my custom tune.

Edit: I am not suggesting anyone disable their safety features while driving on the road.

no mike t. from unichip gave some good info and from that we worked on it and as far as i am concerned it should never be done unless on a dyno it is not safe in a road condition

great idea now i will start to unplug each plug 1 by 1. & if that is the easy fix, who cares what lights light up on my dash. i'll black all but the speedo out. by using a card board box , custom cut. when done just remove the cover.
i'll do this when i have time.

I didn't ask anyone to start yanking plugs to check and see. Was looking for someone that has ran on the dyno and has done this before. I am planning on posting my results to share with others and was looking to do it in 4th gear to get the most accurate HP results. Thanks for the smart a** comment. Don't you have a Generation 1 truck?

LOL, I don't think Gorilla was being a smart a$$. I think he's actually going to disconnect each plug until it works
