WOW! Nice numbers. 320 whp and 345wtq on a mustang dyno is damn impressive. You made 16 hp more than socaliallstar82. All of that can't be exhaust. I think the DT's are performing a little bit better than the JBA's. You're going to make me get headers now. I can explain a new exhaust, but my wife doesn't even know what the hell headers are, lol. Maybe someone will steal my cats and then I can get the DT longtubes. With your mods and custom tune, you should put your DC into the very high 13's without a supercharger! Ask Andrew about Unichips new map. Maybe he can access it and upload it to your chip.

Do us a favor and go learn something...

Even non-boosted diesel's make massive TQ due to the fact they are 18-1 compression ratio.

Damn that's pretty sweet numbers man, way better than mine. Guess the DT headers and your custom exhaust really help alot. So overall you gained 47hp and 61tq right? Still cant believe there's people here that have doubts.

Arent those gains with a custom tune? So I would need to buy the Unichip, find a tuner and pay an additional $XX to see gains like that, right?

Custom tune seems like the way to go to get optimum results

Hey ryder are those numbers with the 91 tune? May accont for some of the extra hp vs mine. If so, I may go back and get my 91 map custom tuned as well.

It always amazes me.

Someone goes out and pays 25 - 45 THOUSAND dollars for a truck and then gripes about having to pay 3-4 HUNDRED dollars for a custom tune.

I don't get it.

Do the math again...let's say someone got the Unichip for the GP price of $600..then dyno time which depending on where you go and how many pulls you need can run from $50-150....then paying the tuner for his time which I don't know what they charge but let's say $200..then for people like me that don't have a tuner nearbyy would have to drive 4 hours away....so your comment about $3-400 is wayyyyyyyyyyy low...

The last time I spoke to them, they were hoping to be able to have the end user being able to custom tune their vehicle. If I remember correctly, the user would data log and then tune specifically for their vehicle. They said they were trying to make it fool proof and that it wouldn't be ready until Spring 2009. Maybe that would work for you. I wouldn't count on it though, sounded like it was still in the works...

Yes, this is definitely a goal of theirs and will be an option on Flux, but this is very far off. I can get a custom dyno tune for a flat rate of $400. I think its well worth it. My only problem is having to drive almost two hours to get there.
