Here is a time slip to laugh at , -was at Fontana dragway this morning and had to get in and out of it 2-3 times , traction control off and did not mash the pedal hard at all , just spun like crazy. (much worse than earlier this year at the same track)
Got back into the staging lanes for a second try and the rain came.
The track announcer said it would be about an hour and a half after it stopped (raining) to start letting cars run again so i bailed.
Ill try again in a month at the same track and maybe put my oem tires on in place of the wragged trails.

i just had my unchip tuned on the dyno on my s/c tundra i gained 30+ whp easy the problem was with tune provided from unchip it was really really bad and had almost no chage the tuner could of done it in 5 min.

back to results i felt a lot of defrance especially with the second gear where it will keep spining where it did not on original tune

result i gained .5 second increase for 0-60 and when it get cooler over here i will be adding more timing as the tuner said where i can gat more than 60 whp on demand only

just for a short race map b

p.s to know the real value of unichip you must have a dyno tune with a profisional and yes the tune with a profisional only takes 1 hour no more on a s/c car and 1/2 hour on a natural aspirated

shure i can share it with you but unfortanatly i dont have the soft ware whcih makes me able to copy the map from the chip to send to you

by the way the s/c has more power we just need to get a conical intake or some sort of modification to get more air and removing the cats will help alot cause they got blocked with me in the first week with s/c

Hey Dubi_222,
thanks for ur info on unichip and superchargers. Can u maybe give me the name of ur tuner( and phone #), so my tuner can chat with him maybe make my tune go smooth. Just one more thing.........was spending the money on both tuner/chip worth the gains ?
thanks

I'm looking for a tuner/chip for my Tundra. I would be interested in a group buy if that materializes soon. I have the 08 5.7 litre with K@N air intake and Borla CAT back system. Soon to have the Ready lift 3 inch front 1 inch levelling kit with ProComp wheels and 315 X 70 tires (if they will fit).

I sent Jack an email last week and he replied and said they had to work out a few bugs. They were hoping to ship by the end of this week. Arrrrgggghhhh! Hopefully soon

Any word yet on the Flux? Will it be able to reconfigure the speedometer/Odometer for a range of different tire sizes.

Thanks
