hi for all of you.
it depend's on the shop but let's say they charge 100 per hour for the dyno, and need 2 hour's to tune it that's 200 there.
now you need to pay for the tuner guy, for 2 hour's.
most tune's cost around 400. now if you want to tune both A & B map's that's more time.
it all depends on the shop.
when i get all the info on the tune for my tundra, i'll ring in. i heard of a guy here that they needed his tundra for 2 day's, it cost him about a grand for his tune, and he said it was worth it.

Well I had the flux. Installed it for and for the life of me could not get it to link up with the truck. Talked with uni chip for about 3 days and still couldn;t figure it out. They want me to send it back so they can get it working right. So for the minimal increase in HP it gave me I pulled it out and it is sitting on a bench in my garage. and at some point I will pull it out but not until it has been proven.
Waste of money...

Wow. That's not very encouraging. I would send it back to them and make them fix it. I am supposed to get my chip back tomorrow. It's been 6 weeks! Good luck
Seems as if the flux is having trouble accepting windows mobile 6. i was abel to connect with wm5 just now sux cause that phone has a broken screen and cant see all the display. Sending my phone and my flux reciever to unichip. See if they can get it going.
hi i thought for the flux upgrade to work you needed a 5.0 PDA.
that is what i was told.
i was going to buy it.
after i had my unichip tuned for both map's A & B.

gorilla
Correct but it does work with WM6.1 or WM6. I got it working earlier tonite. Seem as if the connections were not making full contact. Need some contact cleaner and I was good to go. Although not all functions are working correctly. Im pretty sure its a software issue. Im calling Unichip to get help in the morning. But most things are working!

X2 now. It is a really expensive paper weight and getting thrown back in the box. It was nice when it worked for a couple of months.
hi, to you all,
next time you get a offer of: 0% credit card for 12 to 18 month's.
i would jump on that offer, & buy the trd s/c.
it will give you up to a year & a 1/2 to pay it off.
mean while you are playing for a 1 1/2year's with your NEW toy! trd super charger.
just a idea.
you guy's a so lucky to have a 5.7 TRD s/c available.

Well i ran again at Fontana dragway saturday (nice meeting you socaliallstar82 , --im posting here on this thread so as not to hi-jack your other thread)
This time i just EASED onto the gas when the light went green.
First pic is two slips, one against my niece, (her first time, was fun for both of us) --the second was against a vette.
The second pic is from a year ago (pre tune, same track), --i realize the Density altitude is different from a year ago..
