If someday I decide to add a S/C, can the chip be reprogrammed to suit the change and perhaps enhance the S/C's performance?
Definitely. Unichip already has TRD supercharger maps for the 1st gen tundra, Tacoma and FJ. They are trying to get a supercharged 07 in for testing. As soon as they get one, they'll map it and make the map available for downloading to your Unichip tuner.

This is great that a reputable "tuner" is bringing an offering to the table and all but I am very skeptical about spending ~$700 without seeing any verifiable results. I understand that results can be (and usually are) doctored but I still would like to see something regarding numbers, torque curves, before / after, etc...
Does anyone else share this concern or is everyone just going to pull the trigger and hope for the best?

There's already a dyno for Gorilla showing significant gains. Forum member Pull This also has the Unichip for his modded 07 5.7 Tundra and has reported more power and torque as well as much better mpg's. He will be taking his truck for an independant dyno soon.

Ahhhh, I see. Thanks for the quick reply Nola. I am not trying to rain on the parade at all but would really like to see some dyno sheets rather than "so and so says that he is getting 45mpg, +59whp, and 56tq." (grossly embellished)
I am really interested in this but am trying to be patient as this is the first ECU upgrade to become available.
Below is the list of email addresses that I have received so far. Some of the addresses that I have received are from the overflow group, or those that missed the first 50 votes on the poll. At this point I have received the okay from unichip to exceed 50, so whoever sends me their email info will be on the list. As soon as I get 50 email addresses, I'm forwarding the info to Unichip. I need everyone that voted in the poll to pm me their email address as soon as possible. Preferance will be given to those who were part of the first 50 up until the date that Unichip must have all names. i don't have this date yet, but I will let you know when I do. Any delays on your part will delay others from receiving their tuners. thanks to everyone for bringing this together.
NOLA, I've copied this post below to the Group Buy forum. LINK:==>http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...s/#post1065535
Feel free to use that new thread for gathering info and posting info regarding this GB. If you have any requests that require an admin, send me a PM and I'll see what I can do.
To everyone else, congrats on the killer deal, get your emails and info to NOLA_1906 asap.

Really a before and after dyno????? I dont think so and if I remember right the Air fuel was all jacked up on those dyno runs.

I am new to the forum, being that I just purchased my first Toyota after many years of buying Chevy's. I am interested in a tuner for my 08 Tundra but it is supercharged. I am also installing exhaust and would really like to do something about the traction and shifting and definatly the limiter. What do you suggest?

Gorilla can speak on this better than I can. I'm only going by what he himself has told me. Regarding the AF ratios, I'm not sure how it was tuned, it may not have been optimized for his particular mods the way these new units will be. Yes his was a Gen 1, but it was mainly to show the increases that are possible with a Unichip tuner. Please search threads by PullThis for real world feedback on the Unichip for the 5.7.

hi, i wish i could be more help, i think unichip would be able to answer many more questions than i.
i provided the dyno sheet as proof of result's & thats good enough for me.
i am extremely happy.
when they disable the limitor, i will have it reprogrammed, and than bring it into a unichip shop to have it, custom tuned & dyno'ed, and what i've been told, i will see even higher results. YEPPIE!!!!!
