Default Anyone had a problem with the air pumps for the catalytic converters

Last week I was driving to the store and suddenly the "check engine" light came on and the truck went into the "limp home" mode which reduces the power. I immediatly took it to the dealer and the code showed that it was an airpump failure. There are two of them and they pump high volumes of air through the catalytic converters. After removing the pump, they found water had gotten into the pump and caused it to fail. The dealer said this is a known issue and that Toyota was working on a solution. I had not gone through any deep water with this truck. Toyota replaced both the pumps under warranty. Has anyone had a similar problem. The dealer said it would cost over $3000 to replace these on my own if it was not under warranty. I really do not want to have to do that a few years from now.
