Why not just get the TRD big Brake kit for almost half as much as the Brembo with no modification?
Here for $2295 Sparks Toyota

Sorry, I should have included the TRD in this thread but I assumed everyone knows about the TRD Big Brake Kit. Just scoping out other brands.
And I apologize for taking your thread off topic. I doubt you will find anyone using the Brembo kit for that price but I hope someone has some input for you.
Although i am happy with my TRD setup... I have experianced fade a few times with them.
After talking to some Big Wigs in the Braking world Stoptech (who makes TRD BBK) is definitely the way to go. Brembo kits aren't really vehicle specific kits anymore as far as a balanced brake upgrade. Most seem to think they have taken a big fall recently in quality of the vehicle specific kits, but not the products.
Brembos only real advantage I can see is the weight of the rotors. The Brembo ones should weigh about 14lbs a piece less than the stoptech rotors. The Brembos are 2 piece and the Stoptechs are cast. That would help a bit with handling... but would you really notice...?
Stoptechs advantage would be that the Calipers are directly bolt up with no bracket. They are cast already with the mounting points. Unlike the Brembos.
Take into consideration also that drilled rotors cannot be turned and Replacement rotors for the TRD kit are $400 a piece at the cheapest. I get about 12,000 miles out of them
Just my 2cents...
TRD/Stoptech 16" rotor!
