Default Interco Tires - Winter use only

I am looking at these 3 tires from Interco and I am wondering if anyone is or has ran them. I have the ProComp Stage 2 lift kit, and that is why I have only listed the sizes below. I like Option #1, but I am currently running 37" BFG KM2; which do not have the siping like the TrXus M/T. Option #2 looks pretty wild looking. Option #3 is probably the one for winter but A/T's I find in snow seem to ball up. M/T's if sipped correctly throws out the snow.

Thanks for your input

OPTION #1

The NEW TrXus Mud Terrain is INTERCO'S answer to the need of those who want a smooth, super quiet ride with tough, thick sidewalls with a chip and cut resistant compound. This tire has more siping than any other mud terrain on the market; which has proven to be almost magical in icy snowy conditions. These same traction features make this tire a serious rock climber.

Each TrXus Mud Terrain tire has its individual specifications and is heavier than the original equipment tires of comparable size. Many brands of tires are made from generic specifications which means there are many "brand names" coming out of a particular factory but all the tires have a common specification basic body or casing. The only difference is the mold the tire is cured in. The tires will have different tread designs but the body of the tire is common to many others of the same size but under various names.

Prod. Code B/RWL: RXM-16R
Size: 35x12.5R18LT
Weight: 72

O.D.: 35.3
C.S.: 12.4
Rev Per Mile: 617

Max Load: 3445

OPTION #2

The TrXus STS, the STS stands for Three Stage Sidewall, is a new concept in all terrain tires. These tires are not intended to be a substitute for the Super Swamper or Bogger tires but a tire for you if you spend a lot of time on the street. Besides working so well on the street it has good off road performance and excels in snow and sand. It is also very much at home in the rocks and will impress anyone with its all around performance. This tire is going to set a new standard in the all terrain category

Prod. Code: RXS-27
Size: 35x12.5R18LT
Weight: 71
Ply Rating: 10
Sidewall Ply: 3
Skid Depth: 20/32
Tread Width: 11.46
O.D.: 35.2
C.S.: 12.7
Rev Per Mile: 619
Rim: 18x10
Max Infla.: 65
Max Load: 3445

OPTION #3

The VorTrac design combines all of the features that make up a great all terrain tire. It has a tight tread pattern that is well supported toward the base of the pattern for good stability and long tread life. It has a lot of siping to provide traction in wet weather, snow and ice conditions. Some of the features are designed to prevent large stone retention. All of this is brought into a design that is smooth and quite running along with good looks that will enhance the appearance of any vehicle.

Prod. Code: VOR-44R
Size: 37x12.5R18LT
Weight: 71
Ply Rating: 10
Sidewall Ply: 2
Skid Depth: 16/32
Tread Width: 10
O.D.: 37
C.S.: 13.10
Rev Per Mile: 544
Rim: 18x8.5-11
Max Infla.: 65
Max Load: 3640

Save your money and buy a tire siper/groover off ebay. The "Ideal Groover" is around $60. Then just cut sipes 3/8" deep spaced 3/16" apart. This will make those slick mud tires much better on ice.

If new tires are needed go with Toyo MT's.

I could never recommend an Interco tire, they wear extremly fast, and usually vibrate.

I had a set of 35s on 16" wheels and I had to keep them pumped up to 55psi to run freeway speed of 70mph, on the pavement they were okay around town, highway sucked but off-road, they were amazing. Their place is offroad, not onroad.

The STS is supposed to be a good sand tire, but I don't live in sand...

I will never get another Super Swamper tire for my daily driver. They all ride like $h!t in my opinion, and there are better options out there for winter only tires.

Thanks for the reply. I do have a quote for the BFG KO's 37x12.5R18 tires. I am just checking on tires I do not know anything about. The feedback so far says "NO BUY".
