If anyone has a stand and is happy with it, please tell me a brand or website where I can get it. Not sure what works best for the tundra. Thanks!

I have a Ram mount in mine. I like it, but don't love it. It is VERY sturdy and solid, but it extends too far into the foot well, causing the post to contact the dash board in the higher positions. Also, make sure you get all the parts. Mine was missing two small parts. Ram was very quick to send the replacements, but it was a PITA to not have them.

All the research I did indicated that this was really the only one solid enough for serious use. Installation was easy.

Do you mind throwing some pics in here? I work on my laptop all day long in my truck and wanted to know what it would look like. I saw one a few years back and it looked like it took up ALOT of room

I have a RAM mount as well, no issues with it whats so ever. You can check another brand called Jotto Desk as well. Good luck on deciding!!!

I've got the Jotto Desk laptop mount in my '08 DC and have no complaints with it.

Comparing it to the Ram, the Ram appears to have a more solid locking mechanism to hold the laptop on. It appears that the "mounting plate" for the laptop is much larger than the Jotto though. The Jotto uses two cables to hold the laptop down- I haven't experienced any problems with the cables, just looks like the Ram is heftier (at the expense of size).

The Jotto appears to take up less floor space than the Ram and the vertical pole from the base is no where near the dash.

I'll try to take a copule pix of mine tomorrow and add them to the thread.

the jottodesk is $340 before S&H?!??! and the Ram is almost $250? ehhh, to much for me. Ill just sit it on the middle console.
