You can't tell anything by the 2 pics because the angles are no good. It needs to be a side view pic of the whole truck from a standing position.
If I lay down by my wheel, I can make my Tacoma look like it has 30 inches of lift on the front end!!! Hmmmm.... now theres an idea
Glad I dont have to pay for gas! My job kicks ***!
I can tell just fine actually. Its weird I know what my truck looks like at those angles and then I look at his truck and I can tell the difference, and if I didn't know what my truck looked like at those angles well heck its just outside I could go compare. Thats amazing how that works!

hey mclovinr all you did was install the bilstein shocks and you got 2.5'' lift ? i'm thinking about lifting my truck but don't want to spend a boatload can you give me some more info ?
well there about 100 bucks a shock so its cheaper then buying spacers and you get a nice pair of shock out of the deal. The shock basically has a spacer in it which compresses the coil, there are three different settings, .5,1.5.2.5, mine is set at the 2.5 and it a little bit higher in the front but i like the look.
Let us know what clip position you set it on and how/if ride was changed. I'm curious to find out if it gets "bouncier" with each higher position.
as far as the compression of the coil goes, i dont think it made it stiffer or bouncier at all and with the new shocks in there the ride has gotten a lot better
how much did they charge for install and alignment to give me idea?
I have crewmax and wonder if 1.5 lift position wouldn't be better cause I don't want to mess with rear end lift, any ideas on that?
the 1.5 will be pretty close i may sit a little bit lower in the front but you wont notice it, but i dont know how much they charge i put them in my self there not really that hard to do, if you decide to put them in ill give you a step by step instruction
Truck looks awesome man and we appreciate the post on the new product, I defininantly think i will be going this route based on your input, I think if you can get them in yourself an alignment usually can be done for under $75 but that would be required regardless of if you went with shocks or the spacer route
