At that lift height of 2.5 how does it handle at freeway speeds of 70-80 m.p.h.?

do you have as much lateral control, any vibration?

THIS IS WHAT FIRST GEN HAVE NOTICED with theirs at full 2.5 lift.

Is ride stiffer or smoother then stock?
I don't have TRD so I wouldn't know difference.

It sounds like someone is going to have to do install DIY for front /and rear in future.

it handles good at freeway speeds and it feels smoother in the corners, theres no vibration and it handles just like stock, i feel like it rides just like stock if not better. im kinda new but whats a DIY, do it yourself?

It seems that ALLOT of people wll be putting these on instead of leveling kits.

What have you done to rear suspension so far?

ONE inch bills and one inch block to lift it or just block?

Why take out blocks, won't that make front look really high?

Where did you buy shocks at?

in the pictures i dont have the blocks in, but i think it looks more level with out them. i bought the shocks at 4wheelparts.com but they dont have them on there site you have to call them and do all the leg work for them, make sure to have the part number.

Why did they put a a one inch lift in rear shocks if it doesn't affect lift, I was always wondering that ?

because the extra inch on 5100 bills compensate for the one inch blocks so you dont loose travel, but you dont have to have blocks in with the shocks. The rear shocks dont lift the truck because there is no coil, the only way to lift the rear is a add a leaf or blocks

Thanks ! Yeah , I left the back stock but put the 5100 shocks on there as well . It looks nose high in the pic , but its facing uphill . the 305's are a good match , I trimmed the skid plate just a bit , not sure if it would've rubbed very much , but it looked close so I did it anyways .

got mine installed last week and then drove around 400 miles highway with them, 50 city and 10 or so on some pretty gnarly off road. so far- ride is much much better than stock. mine are cranked up to full height. the truck rides nose high a little bit, but since i dont tow much its fine for me. I really really like the new stance and everyone has asked if i lifted my truck (lots of people asking if is 4 front 3 rear). might add something to the back to try and cure the bed bounce and go up an inch, any ideas? new bfg 285/65/18's should be in tomorrow cant wait. will grab pics once i get her all cleaned up too. also got my tails tinted when they put the shocks on and it looks awesome!
