Okay well since I was getting new wheels and did not want to worry about that annoying light on the dash. I decided after some research here and other places the easiest method to bypass this for less than 15.00 bucks and a DIY project that you can do in less than a hour. I did test the can after I made it since coming home from the tire shop I had the light on right away since the TPMS units were in a box and not in a the wheels any longer. After building the pressure can I was able to fill it to about 35 psi and reset the light on the dash drove around a week no problems. Next week I left the unit in the garage as I went to work and as soon as I got about 15 miles or so the dash ligth came back on. Got home put unit back in the truck and reset the light, after a week more not more dash light. This was a simple and easy fix for the dash light issue for those of us that do not want to go back to the dealer to have them program in new units or buying more TPMS sensors.
Well on to the pics ...
This ones completed with TPMS units in the the tube and 35 psi of air in it.
Next ones are after I applied some spray in bedliner paint I had left over from another project from a spray can.
I now have it wire tied up in the truck under my rear seat and its out of the way too. Just thought I share what I did to remedy my TPMS dash light, in case anyone else may want to try this in the future.

You'll have to start to patent these ideas
Good job as always

Thanks all but this is not 100% my idea just the method I decided to work the best and easiest for the money.
The only problem with selling them on ebay is you need to seal the TPMS sensors in the tube and that would be hard to do unless you have some one ship you theirs. , then again maybe I could piece all the parts together and sell it as a kit with DIY instructions, people will buy anything almost on ebay.
Re: TPMS DIY bypass completed and tested with PICS.
I did this a few weeks ago and it works perfectly. My pipe bomb looks just like yours. I wrapped mine with foam tape and used 2 big zip ties to hold it to a crossmember under the truck.

You would get a tire pressure light and possibly a check engine light.

your reply indicates that you have never tried it, correct?
first of, TPMS is not part of the powertrain, so it's higly unlike it would trip CEL on.
and if you unplug/remove the TPMS module (as opposed to removing the sensor) the logic indicates that this is what would keep the light off.
what I mean is it would only take 5 minutes to unplug the module and it's probably more obvious solution. that is if it works of course, I'm not claiming it does, but that's what I would do first.
Re: TPMS DIY bypass completed and tested with PICS.
my assumption regarding simply unplugging is that its more complicated than that. since they are required on 07 and newer trucks by the govt i can see it setting trouble codes in the BCM and somehow triggering more problems than just a lack of light. including a maint required light or something. i can also see the obd system setting a code not allowing it to pass inspection w/o them working properly. i really like the pipe bomb mod, easy and effective if you are going to run wheels w/o sensors.
Re: TPMS DIY bypass completed and tested with PICS.
Tire Pressure Monitoring System and its been on the Tundras since at least 05 cause I have it on mine. You can also ground out one of the wires behind the dash if its anything like the 1 gen and this will eliminate the light.Try using the search I'm sure its not that much different wiring.Me personally I just used the ones that came with the wheels I bought from a member hear and let dealer reprogram for all of 40 bucks.I've also seen that they now sell some adapters to make your sensors work and fit in any wheel.
