You should be fine imho......this truck is more than capable of pulling and stopping this amount of weight....i have "E" rated BFG's and they did just fine after I aired them up to 55 psi. I have a 30 foot rampage tri-axle that is 8500 dry. After water, all the family crap it is prolly over 10,500 and closer to 11,000. The hitch weight is 925lbs. which does sag the rear a little. I also have a WDH that makes an incredible difference. Wouldnt pull without one.
Your Tundra will do fine. I pull a 26 foot toy hauler with 4wheelers. Dry it is around 8500. Loaded it is around 10000. With an equilizer hitch it handles great. Stops well and maintains 65 - 70 as well. I only get 8 - 10 mpg when towing. I think air bags would help keep it level. Take a pic with it connected and let us see.
Here is a pic.
I'm really glad he thought to ask and come on the forum too. I hope that guy I saw the other got scolded or ticketed by the popo's.
Thanks guys. Its funny, because everyone over here is pretty optimistic the Tundra can do it, but everyone over on the Toy Hauler forums is saying there's no chance in hell and I need a bigger truck....LOL

Will post pics when I pick it up on Saturday
Of course all the guys over on the toy hauler forums say you can't do it lol...Its the typical Dodge, Ford, Chevy guys that can't stand the fact that our little Jap truck can out tow their BIG TOUGH AMERICAN TRUCKS!
...Excluding the diesel ones lol...

You can't get much stronger unless you went with a Diesel 3500, you have a pretty stout truck. Huge rear end, large brakes and a 6 speed! Engine is the same or larger than gas version F250 and Dodge 2500. The tundra is very durable and able to handle the weight. IMO; However, a diesel is designed to tow and might get better fuel mileage but the tundra is a pretty tough truck imo.

Obviously, nobody over there has a clue about how capable this truck really is do they?
I'm with the other folks here on the LT 10-ply tires, they are a must have IMO. Also i think you may want some additional spring support such as airbags.
You'd better chime in on how the truck does, alright?

Oh, nice trailer BTW.
I agree...E Rated tires are a must and bags in the back along with weight distrib hitch and you'll be good to go. Do a search for E rated tires and I'm sure you'll find some info on them. I know one guy that just recently swapped out 2 of his tires for E rated ones and he likes how sturdy they feel. Gives you a little more confidence when towing.

Already got these E rated tires on order....285/55/20
Ah very nice. I've read lots of good reviews on those tires. They're supposed to be nice and smooth on the highways and are also pretty good in different terrains. Good choice.

You will have zero problems. I tow a 26' toy hauler. Plenty of power, it's stable and stops really well with the brake controller properly adjusted. I don't have air bags, but do have a weight distributing hitch. Keep the water and trailer fuel tank near empty until you arrive at your destination and fill up when you get there. This saves a lot of weight when towing. Even when the temp is over 100 degrees, the Tundra never heats up. Try to keep the speed at 65 mph or under or your gas mileage will really suck. The toy haulers have a large frontal area which really puts a lot of drag at higher speeds. I've passed another vehicle that pissed me off at 85 mph with no problem. I don't think I'll do it again, but the Tundra really gets up and goes even with a toy hauler taggin along behind.
Thanks for everyone's input, I really appreciate it. You guys have made made me a lot more comfortable about picking it up on Saturday, rather than downgrading to a smaller unit. Its nice to know that the Tundra is really capable of what it says it is.
You said you got a 2yr warranty on that. Was that a manufacturer warranty or an aftermarket warranty?
I'm not sure if you heard or not, but Weekend Warrior who owns Rage'n has shutdown. No more warranties on Weekend Warrior or Rage'n. Check out rv.net forums for info.

Here she is, home in one piece. Could definitely tell she was back there when we hit a little wind, but Equalizer + Sway Hitch and Prodigy Brake Controller worked great on minimizing tow effort. Stock Dunlops held up well at near max pressure. Averaged 10 mpg at 60mph, transmission temp didn't budge one bit. No issues other than a little squat in the rear - she is definitely a heavy girl
Oh, and you should have seen all the 3/4 TON Diesel Owners hatin' when they drove by.
