LOL...Yeah, Viper R&D and Technology means adding more displacement when the Vette and other super cars beat it on a daily basis with much less displacement
When you gotta compensate for something else, up the displacement [Dodge]
8.0L-->8.3L-->8.4L
hp/L....what's that? More efficient...Meh!
381 hp/5.7L = 66.8 hp/L
504 hp/5.7L = 88.4 hp/L
500 hp/8.3L = 60.2 hp/L
Nuff Said...

I just wanna say- Viper Trucks Suck the Brown Eye.
LMAO!!! for the record i met this guy in person. he idn't give two shits at the time about performance and didn't have a clue about performance. all he carred about was vinyl viper stickers for his windshield and new emblems. now all of a sudden he's mr' performance knowledge? LOL whatever...he was an arrogant prick too and now he's on my local forum trying to make himself look good by cliffnoting wikipidia....whatever!
p.s. he wouldn't run my other car cause he thought he was too fast. (my other car is a 500 whp 2700 pound 4 banger)
Raced a RCSB SRT-10(AT THE TRACK!) from 40 roll!!Beat him twice one truck lengths to 90 mph He said he drove it right and did not miss gears, and said i got him fair and square. He could not believe haw fast it was!
The one i raced was stock.I pulled on him good and he could not recover!!!!!!
I watched your vid in your signature. All I can say is that I'd have too many tickets with the supercharger.... Dang, but it does sound sweet from the cab.....
Well... I'm not an idiot like that "Viperam" guy, so I'm not gonna argue with you guys. I will however say this....
Bring it!
So does your truck still carry that awesome Dodge factory Lifetime Powertrain Warranty? You putting down around 550 RWHP? Pretty awesome, warranty or not!

Update: Just realized that the SRT only comes with 36 Month, 36K mile from the factory.

Sigh.... I know where this is going and I cant even see the pictures..... Thread resurrection much? I for one think that a supercharged tundra could hold its own against a n/a srt-10, but at that point you are no longer comparing stock to stock. A stock rcsb against a stock srt I think would get wasted....all that motor would bury our 5.7.....
Well... I'm not an idiot like that "Viperam" guy, so I'm not gonna argue with you guys. I will however say this.....
Bring it!
That is just insane.
I have a lot of respect for that torque monster V10 with its big ol' powerband. Parts for it are expensive but that engine can handle a ton of power. The 5.7L is formidable but you're pretty much capped at ~500whp (guesstimate for supercharger + all the bolt-ons) whereas the Dodge V10 is just getting started at 1000whp+.

My experience was a rcsb srt-10 manual tranny kicked my butt. He pulled away hard and didnt give in.
However, a four door srt-10 didn't outrun me but I didn't out run him either.
Just two experiences I had. My trucks specs are in sig.
