Every once in a while, more often in the morning, my 07 DC will give off a loud "snap" noise from the lower glovebox / passenger kickpanel area. It sounds like there is a rat trap being set off in the lower glovebox / blower motor area. I'm fairly certain its not road debris and does not happen with any regularity.
It's completely normal and is covered in the owners manual.
