Default bug shield

Just got my 08 5.7 Tundra Crewmaxx , Salsa Red, SR5, Alpine Black interior, with the 20" carved rims. I love this truck! I was looking for a bug shield and how do you install it on the Tundra? I don't want tape , i want something that screws on. What shields screw on that fit the Tundra?

The one i purchased through Advance Auto parts was a screw on. I think the name was "Bugshield II" by AVS. relatively easy to install, and looks great. involves taking the grill completely off. the instructions were great. I think it cost around 70 bucks.....

Thats an AVS on my truck. Very secure attachment. Directions are great and keep the pry tool for later disassembly of your grill. Very useful.

Hate to get off topic, but Im glad you rang in on this. Ive been searching high and low for a crewmax with 18" Chrome Goliaths... everybody else has either black 18s or 20s. Are you still running the stock rubber??

Ive been to a few accessory shops and have been walking around parking lots trying to find shields that I like, and I think that the AVS is the best looking one with the best installation.

Im hearing that its a lil more labor intensive to install, but I like the way it mounts.

I havent been impressed at all with any of the other shields on the market.
